Nope, that's not how it works. If a player is promoted into Div. One, he has the choice to keep his team. Just like everyone else, he can also choose to draw a new team.

When drawing new teams between seasons, those in Div. One can only be drawn from the Second Tier, but if a player is promoted into Div. One, there's nothing wrong with him keeping that good team. Players in lower divisions can choose to select from the Top Tier or the Second Tier.

I assume that all players in thise league are interested in fair play, and I am well assured that if bubbaball's Juventus dominate the top division for a few seasons, he will gladly redraw a team (which would have to be from the Second Tier). Allowing some participants to use better teams than others helps to assure a level playing field, since some players are objectively better at the game than others.

Just so its official I am out, with NCAA coming out soon I won't have time for 2 leagues. Plus I plan on playing a lot more GRAW.

Ill go to the first, no problem there. But Liverpool arnt used to fighting a relagation battle, its gonna be tough.

OK, so Jimmy is in Div. One with his Liverpool, and Jack you can stay in Div. Two.

Also, I am still awaiting confirmation from pigpen that he does indeed want a team from the Second Tier rather than the Top Tier, and I will do the first round of the team draw(s).

I'm hoping to get the first half schedule up by the weekend, but there are no guarantees! The deadline for the first half will be two weeks from Sunday (7/23) in any case.

Folks, we've got a new entrant into the league at the last minute. FIFAInspected has brought in a friend who goes by "FabulousBastard" on XBL, and I assume here as well once he gets his account in order.

That means the Second Division will have seven players, and will play 12 season games instead of 10.

FabulousBastard will be joining the rest of us with the draw from the Second Tier. That being settled, here is the result of the first team draw:

pigpen81 - *Middlesbrough (Teeside)

fabulousbastard - *Palermo

FIFA - VfB Stuttgart (Neckar)

Zeppo - *Hamburger SV (Hanseaten)

AtXj - *Olympique Marseille (Bouches du rhone)

An asterisk next to the team indicates it's in the bottom half of the Second Tier.

At this point, the above need to let me know by tomorrow afternoon-ish whether they want to keep the team they've drawn or discard it and enter the second draw of three.

The only guarantee in the second or third draw is that you will not get the same team you've had in previous draws. Once you discard a team and enter a further draw, you can't fall back and decide to take that first team instead. Thus, the third draw is final and if you choose to enter that draw whatever team you get, you are stuck with it for the season.
