I loved it! Turned a game that wasn't even on my rader into a day one purchase for me. Multiplayer wasn't all that good, but the single player game looks to be fantastic.pigpen81 wrote:How is the prey demo for those that have played it?
Try the demo, it will hook you immediately. You start in a bar and everything is totally interactive. There is a jukebox with some kicking tunes that you can change and also some arcade games that you can play. If you have a HDTV, the game looks pretty darn good too.

I didn't get that feeling at all after the game really opened up. The level design was pretty damn cool. I really liked how things turned upside down and the teleport holes were very cool. I was more impressed with it than I thought I would be but it's a game I'll hold off of until a price drop.SoMisss2000 wrote:I thought the demo sucked. It has that feel of, yeah, this game has been done numerous times. Not even a rental for me.pigpen81 wrote:How is the prey demo for those that have played it?

Madden Nation is reporting that a NCAA demo will be available this week. Anywhere from tonight to Friday at the latest.

Would be awesome if true.

They must be proud of what they came up with...if it sucked there is no way they would put out the demo a week before it's release. If it was TERRIBLE they would be holding on to the demo till after the first day madness is over.ScoopBrady wrote:Madden Nation is reporting that a NCAA demo will be available this week. UPDATE: Just found this from the Xbox forum. Sad you have to go to a forum to find out stupid stuff: Go to options,WHEN PLAYING.Adjust screen.Hope this helps.

You can stretch it horizontally and vertically, that is after you start a game and pause it. Yes, it doesn't fill up the whole screen but it's a heck of a lot easier on the eyes than it is at default.dbdynsty25 wrote:Doesn't help, so don't bother. All it does is stretch it out a bit...never does fill up the whole screen.Thanks. Gonna try it out now.

I like how the flying of the stadium stutters like crazy.
The game is Madden...at least from the 1 min. quarter game I just played. Still no gang tackling or anything. A few more animations, but nothing really sticks out. LOL. Not a bad thing, but not really a good thing either. Hard to really get a feel for the game with good old 1 min. quarters. I'll still buy it though...the stadium looks amazing too.
