Boys:
Anyone up for some IndyCar Series 2005 at 10:30 p.m. (EDT) tonight? I know Piggy is in, and Neck is out because he's at Kansas for IRL testing.
Hulkster? Jimmy? Anyone? Bueller?
Let me know!
Thanks,
PK

Good fun last night, as always, boys. I f*cked up my fueling strategies twice, trying to make the car as light -- and fast -- as possible at the end of the run, and I didn't put in enough fuel at the stops!
Piggy: You, Neck and I had some good jousts. And mega props to Hulkster, who was clean and steady all night. Your best performance, man!
Let's race again soon. Hopefully Terry, Dave, JackB1 and others can join us soon. This game will be b*tchin' with six or more DSPers.
Take care,
PK

I'm considering it. I could only find one copy of it though and Jack wants it more than I do.
Also, the good ole black Xbox is nowhere near the router right now. The router is down by the XB360 on the main TV, the black xbox is upstairs in my game/music room. So I'd be hard pressed to get on XBL with my regular Xbox right now.

thanks.. i really felt good in the car last night (i guess having the time to practice beforehand helped)... though i was sweating bullets with you on one side of me & piggy on the other during that one race...
Thta is the single most reason I think this game gives the best online experience....going 2 or 3 wide on a turn or straightaway is balls to the wall exhiliriation.thanks.. i really felt good in the car last night (i guess having the time to practice beforehand helped)... though i was sweating bullets with you on one side of me & piggy on the other during that one race...
Great racing Hulkster...your first win and great starts!
Can't wait until next time guys.

Gators, from what I can remember of the forum posts when the game first came out, there is no NTSC PS2 version on sale. I've ran a quick search of the forums too and not found anything.
Seems a bit odd to me, since there is a PS2 version available in PAL territories, though it's rendered almost unplayable by the huge amounts of slowdown on show. If that ever made it to release in the USA, hopefully one of the other chaps in this thread can correct me.

Xbox only in the USA. Confirmed.
I remember the call I received from the IMS Licensing Department when we learned the Codies were going to release it Xbox only in the U.S. It wasn't pretty. That pretty much put the proverbial spike in the coffin in the relationship between IMS and Codemasters.
Take care,
PK

I have 2 1/2 World Cup matches on the DVR scheduled for tonight. Looks like a night of Labatt Blue, popcorn and footie wall to wall for me.Dave wrote:Anyone racing tonight?
Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals -- hopefully at a bar with my brother -- and more World Cup footie Saturday night.
Maybe Sunday night for me.
Take care,
PK
