Japan is up 1-0 at halftime on the Soccerroos on a very controvesial no call in the box in which the goalie was fouled by the Japanese and the ball went in.

In case your level of literacy is as low as I suspect it is, this one was started in order to inform the unwary that there would be actual final scores provided, as some members of the board expressed a slight concern that the other thread was giving away scores of games they had not yet seen.
Now find something better to do.

I'm also betting no NFL QBs crash their bikes.
Korea did what they needed to stay in contention for advancement out of group G. Togo was better than I thought they'd be. I'm looking forward to see which France team shows up.

Korea beats a very good Togo team 2-1 with 2 goals in the second half.pk500 wrote:You are doing the right thing, man. France and Swiss are tied at 0...Too many missed chances by both teams and Riberio needs to learn how to shoot.

Bah, my Croats learn the hard way that you can't give that kind of space to Kaka at the top of the box.
Croatia deserved one goal at least, but were undone by less than brilliant finishing. The Croatia-Australia game, already a big game due to the large Croat population in Oz, is going to be huge.

Two unreal goals today with Torres scoring on a great play by a Spanish Middie and Tunisia scored on an absolute Rocket of a shot.Jimmydeicide wrote:Yeh the Croatia fans were mental man, that was unbelievable ,youd have thought they were winning 4-0.
Awsome stuff.
Spain won 4-0 over the Ukraine and Tunisia is up 1-0 in the 53rd minute against the Saudis in a very boring game.

Wow -- this could be the second upset victory of the tournament if Saudi Arabia hangs on for the win. Ecuador over Poland is the only other upset win, in my mind.
And it couldn't be an upset victory without Shep Messing's ridiculous, over-the-top analysis -- "It's a miracle."
For two so-called crap teams, this has been an entertaining match.
Take care,
PK

Holy f*ck -- Tunisia just tied it in the 93rd minute. This has been arguably the match of the tournament so far, between unheralded teams.
