There's only one guy that can equal those amazing moves by Ronaldinho.

Lionel Messi.

Look I like what I've seen from the kid too, but let's not go electing him world footballer of the year just yet, eh?

Decent world cup predictor here. They're pretty good at beating the oddsmakers.

(And in about 2+ days, I'll be off to Europe. Though I'll likely be watching the opener in the Manchester (UK) airport...)

Matching Ronaldinho's foot skills with the ball is far from being footballer of the year. And you're right, he's only 18? We are talking skills here, not footballer of the year.

Who is the worst team here? The one that it would be an upset if they drew or maybe even scored?

Thanks.
Angola or Togo, probably. Saudi Arabia isn't that good, either.

Take care,
PK
I think Africa, Asia and CONCACAF all get one team too many in the World Cup.

Sort of off topic, but its like Reeses Peanut Butter cups, two great things brought together. I know you guys are fans of Keeley Hazell. She had a World Cup soccer spread posted over at Gorillamask.net. Probably NSFW, but definitely got me interested in the World Cup.

The neo-Nazis in Germany and fascists in Italy should be of bigger concern than the English hooligans ...

Take care,

Just asking: Does anyone other than DirectTV get freaking ESPN2HD??? I've got friends with Cox, Time Warner, Comcast, and damn near every other cable company and nobody has this mythical channel :)

I'd take Ashley Cole's girl over her.

Complete US television schedule, including Spanish broadcasts for those times when you just can't' stomach another minute of Marcelo Balboa :)

And a bunch of surprisingly good material from the NY Times "Play" Magazine:

In lieu of the latest scandals in Germany, Brazil and recently Italy, for the first time, players, referees and coaches are being required to sign pledges that neither they nor their immediate families will wager on the sport's global championship. One online sportsbook estimated as much as $1.89 billion would be bet with British bookmakers alone during the World Cup. That's a lot of mula.

Bribes are common and in the center of it all the refs always have something to do with it. Few details of the system have been made public, but FIFA officials have said they were concerned about the proliferation of internet gambling and the influence of Asian bettings. If any suspicious betting patterns were detected, officials have said they might take pre-emptive action, such as switching a referee before a match.

Ahhh, the beauty of being a DirecTV subscriber. NFL Sunday Ticket and ESPN 2 HD. Gotta love it.
