Baghdad ER on HBO

Post by maddoc1979 »

Anybody catch this tonight before The Sopranos? It was a really well done short film. Basically talks about the American trauma center created out of an Iraqi hospital in Baghdad. It's pretty graphic, as you could imagine, but really interesting to watch. Nice that they left all the politics out of the movie...you just get what people actually said and see what there was to see. Definitely worth checking out if you get a chance...just be warned that there are some graphic injuries on camera.

Watched the whole thing. It was totally uncensored, which is how it should be. Everyone should watch this to get a glimpse into what war really is. Really makes you question how it could all possibly be worth it.

Do we really have to start this crap again? IT IS POSSIBLE to be anti- war, but behing the troops. I just want them all to come home safe and sound. Seeing them maimed and killed for God knows what, makes me insane. I hope somehow Bush watches that program. But something tells me it wouldn't effect him in the least.

Just finished watching the show. Very graphic and very moving. It puts things in perspective REAL quick. About an hour ago I thought I was having a somewhat bad day. Getting ready for bed right now and the day doesn't seem so bad compared to what these guys are going through.

As long as you don't post on a thread about war that's already started, you should be golden.
