The Warriors didn't make it this year. Get over it.wco81 wrote:Lakers as usual benefitting from some ridiculous officiating. Odom can run over his man and get a cheap foul call. Or Walton pulling on Jones on the would-be winning shot and nothing is called.

I do prefer sports to made up entertainment...
Do you watch alot of wrestling too?
Nash was probably just a little bit to hard-headed about holding the ball (and being the one to shoot the free throws) at the end. Still, a lot of contact though...

We never have agreed on NBA officiating so this one will be no different. As usual though I don't argue individual calls. Same goes in any sport like the Superbowl.wco81 wrote:Officials sure think so.reeche wrote:MVP BABY!![]()

That was a great shot.
What would have happened if he got as much contact as Nash did in the previous play?
There were a few calls down the stretch where If I was a Suns fans I might question. Being somewhat impartial though and not being really a fan of either team, I just kinda go tough. Same way I said tough to the Seahawks. That's the nature of the game. I don't argue individual calls. The suns are simply playing a bad series which is why they are in the spot they are in. If you play to a lower level than you should, some calls can go against you. That's the breaks and that's the chances in a game. The Suns problems are Kwame Brown, Lamar Odom, and Luke Walton. That's who they better worry about shutting down and finding an answer to. Not the refs.

Good. There's an easy solution. Don't watch it.

Last post and I'm done with you. Actually I am impartial. I'm no Lakers fan. If you followed my post history on basketball you would know that. I don't have a favorite team and Kobe certainly isn't my favorite player in the league. Don't hop into a thread and suddenly pretend you know more than you do. My Kobe post was more to rile up the Laker Haters of which there are plenty.XXXIV wrote:Your impartial and Im the King of England

Im actually happy. It reminded My why I dont watch this f***in s***.
Nash complained a bit but then never said another word after they set up the jump ball and after the buzzer, walked straight to the locker room. Will be interesting if he says anything after the game.Kazuya wrote:Nash was probably just a little bit to hard-headed about holding the ball (and being the one to shoot the free throws) at the end. Usually though, he's one of the protected, which is what makes him so effective. He's money at the FT line and against most teams, if a defender breathes on him, he's going to the line.
So he was probably expecting that he'd get the call, especially when the other team is trying to foul in that situation. Walton went all the way down Nash's arms to get that tie ball.
No doubt Nash dribbled into a trap but Walton didn't get it clean. And there were a few other plays with loose balls where Lakers showed they wanted it more but shoved their way to the ball and got away with it.
Yep. They managed the Heat-Bulls game earlier in the day by giving Shaq 4 Fouls early and making the bulls win. Will they never stop!!!!Inuyasha wrote:The NBA is the king of having the officals manage the games, especially in the playoffs. They're so good at it that I think that other sports are taking notice.
If you don't think the officating in the NBA is the worst in any professional sport, then you've got blinders on.

That's why it's impossible arguing with conspiracy theories. It's like a hydra with many heads. People who want to believe see only evidence that supports their opinion and discount all evidence against.wco81 wrote:I was going to mention Shaq. He's obviously no longer under the bright lights of Showtime.
Bet Scott Pollard can no longer foul him on the elbow with his Adam's Apple.

JFK is a great movie btw.

Anyone who complains about the officials in that game, are just looking for things to complain about. I'm a Suns fan and the Suns lost that game twice (in regulation and in OT). Nash missing three wide open 3's that woulda pushed the lead into double digits under 3:00...and James Jones missing another. The Suns shoulda won, they choked...they missed open shots. That's what happens...and that's also the reason they continue to be winless in games decided by three points or less. Now, if you had said that Nash should have gotten the timeout he and Diaw both called before the jump ball, I could agree with you, but as it stands...the refs didn't take the game away from Phoenix, their shooting and ball management and the end of regulation and OT did.
It's also hard to argue with Blind people as well when they can't see the obvious thats right in front of their faces.reeche wrote:That's why it's possible arguing with conspiracy theories. The NBA is a great movie too. When things are planned out and managed, it's no different than playing from a script.
