Why is it so hard to check pm's? I pm people my own cell number
and tell em to ring me when they are ready to play. I dont know
how much easier I can make it?

Fenerbahce Win At Dortmund
Fenerbahce earned their third win of the season on the road with a 2-1 victory at Borussia Dormtund. Fenerbahce got on the board early, when Marcio (Marmea) and Anelka (Aneuta) combined on a counter attack in the 3rd minute. Marcio headed the hopeful long ball down to Anelka whose shot was saved by the keeper, but the rebound fell right to Marcio who slotted it home from a tight angle. Alex (Anekks) added to the visitors' lead in the 26th minute.
Dortmund halved the deficit in the 32nd minute after a nice run down the left flank put the Fenerbahce defense on its heels. A nice back heel at the top of the box was the perfect setup to an onrushing Rosicky who made no mistake, blasting a right footed shot past the diving Rustu.
Despite a spirited second half, neither team could find the goal again. The final ten minutes were particularly intense, as space began to open up all over the field. Stoppage time seemed interminable to the visiting coach, but eventually it did come to an end.
B. Dortmund 1 : 2 Fenerbahce
10 - SoG - 17
6 - SoT - 7
2 - Corners - 4
10 (13) - Fouls - 6 (8 )
3 - Offside - 3
54 - Poss. - 46
Great game Sully. The ball was bouncing my way in the eraly going, that's the only way I got those goals! That game couldn't end fast enough. You were sure to break through eventually the way my guys were flopping around. Rustu once again came up huge, as he always does. Great stuff. Good luck the rest of the way.

Yep, I just pm'ed you Jared. 11EST is perfect for me. I know it's late, but if anyone wants to go after that I'll be around. Otherwise, I'll be on same time tomorrow night.Jared wrote:Naples,
I've got Zeppo at 9pm EST today, and I think I'm playing Rob at 11pm EST or afterwards (?). Do you want to play after the game against Zeppo? My guess is that would be around 9:45pm

I can play late (aka after midnight). I'll look for you online or a response here if you want to play.Jared wrote:Naples,

Got your invite, Naples...sorry, was playing with Rob.
Can you play Tuesday at any time?
Anyway, here's the Lazio-Galatasaray write-up:
Galatasaray wins nail-biter! After going up 2-0 in the first 27 minutes on a brilliant Sukur run in the box and an equally stellar Hasan Sas free kick, Galatasaray were sitting pretty until Muzzi made things interesting at the 61' mark with a deadly header off a corner kick. From there the turks had to hold on for dear life, as the italians came out barnstorming, but couldn't find the back of the net. DiCanio had a particularly frustrating day, as he saw shot after shot go wide top left, even hitting the post once.
Great game, Rob!

Well, at this point the deadline is extended to 4/30. Don't wait until the weekend though (*ahem* Sully. . . *ahem*).
If Db doesn't get his machine back, and Sudz can't get the update installed by then, well, they will have to suffer forfeits for these second-half games. It should be understood that this is no big deal in the grand scheme. Their team's record will suffer, but they will go on to Season Two with the rest of us.
At this stage, AS Roma is all but guaranteed the DSPremiereship Championship (not officially yet, but geez he'd need to fall off a cliff. . . ), and Fulham is all but guaranteed of promotion. Liverpool and Man. United, each with one loss, still have hope, but Fulham has their destiny in their own hands (as they say).
So, the real battle remaining is the battle to avoid relegation from the DSPremiereship into the DSPenultimate. My own Fenerbahce, with 12 points and all games played, is still not entirely safe. So there are 4 teams still in danger. Sully's Dortmund has the most games to make up.
After this final deadline is reached and, barring any specific requests for extensions for individual games, forfeits etc. are awarded and the final standings become clear, we will have a one-week break before the start of Season Two. This break will give us time to do a new round of team-assignment.
It should also be noted that this between-season period is the time for new blood to enter the league, if there are any interested bystanders who want to join. New players would be placed into the DEPenultimate and have a team assigned depending on their offline difficulty level during the regular team draw process. If there are more than 2 new guys, we would restructure the Divisions to make them more even, so in that unlikely case, 2nd place in the DSPenultimate could prove a valuable place to finish.
It seems that nearly everyone in the top division wants to change teams for the second season. I know that as good as Roma looks right now, they won't look so dominating once AtXj gets into the division with Fulham. I am still waffling about going in for a new team, but if nearly everyone in the top division does it, I probably will too.
Note that we will still pick teams using the same process we used before: a random draw from the appropriate list (1st Division teams get picked from the big Second Tier of teams; 2nd Division can choose to select from either the Top Tier or the Second Tier, though I would suggest that whoever plays his offline games at 4* or 5* they stick with the Second Tier teams); if you don't like the team you have been assigned, you can ask for a second draw and then all those requesting a second draw would be in the pool for the second draw; and then again for a third draw. So there's a chance that guys changing teams may end up with worse squads than what they have now. Maybe not a chance for Galatasaray, but you know what I mean
It would be good to know what everyone is thinking here about team changing, so post away if you please. I know for sure that Rob Varak wants to change, I'm pretty sure Mo wants to get out of Turkey, and I know Jared is toying with the idea. Sully I think is going to change up as well. Second Division guys, I don't know why any of you would want to change!!
Anyway, that's the plan, then. After this weekend, we will tally up the final standings and Golden Boot etc. Then, we will do a new team draw for those who want new teams and onward we go.

Feyenoord 1:0 Galatasaray
Ono 45+'
Feyenoord assured their place in the premiership next season with a 1-0 home victory over Galatasary. The home side besieged the visitors net right from the get-go, completely controlling possession throughout the half. It seemed as if the visitors were struggling with jet lag, because they nary claimed a 50-50 the entire half. For all their possession and shots however, it seemed Feyenoord might never actually breakthrough as the decisive last touch was lacking. Feyenoord finally broke through in first half stoppage time however, as Ono was put behind the defense with a through ball, and made a simple finish on Feyenoord's 15th shot of the half.
The second was a more disjointed affair, with neither team stringing together much possession. Galatasary did make it interesting at the end though, including a late corner that was cleared off the line by the defense.
Team Fey. Gal.
Shots 20 4
Sog 8 2
Free Kicks 4 7
Corners 5 4
Poss 61 39
This result leaves Galatasary in serious relegation danger, with only 7 points in 9 games. The only other team in doubt is Dortmund, with 5 points in 6 games.
