Because of the festivities here last night, I couldn't post the match report between naples and I.
Galatasaray 2-3 Feyenoord
shots 12 11
on target 5 8
FK 8 7
Off 1 4
P% 43 57
Kuyt opened the scoring for Feyenoord at 11' on a defensive breakdown (what's new?) by Galatasaray as he was left all alone in the box for the cross and the header past the hapless keeper.
Kuyt added another one 18min later that beat the keeper, hit the post, hit the keeper again and went in.
The pace of the match reached a fever pitch, and Galatasaray capitalized on sustained pressure, as Cihan H. brought his team within one goal at the 33' mark. The turks continued pressing, but it was Kuyt again taking the pressure off with his hat-trick goal at the 45' mark, a drive to the keeper's left just out of reach.
That goal took the wind out of the home side and supporters, but Galatasaray fought back and got within one again five minutes into the second half when Hasan Kabze found himself all alone with the keeper and took advantage of the situation by slotting a precision strike by the Feyenoord keeper.
From there the match went back and forth and both teams had chances to score, with Galatasaray's Necati Ates just missing the top right corner of the net in stoppage time.

I wasn't sure if slimer was final about stepping out. If he gets no games in by the deadline (4/9) and doesn't ask for an extension, everyone will get a 3-0 victory against the Arsenal.AtXj wrote:Is slimer still in or have his responsibilities been passed on to sudz?
That is my last game of the first half and I don't know who I need to get in contact with.
I guess Sudz could step in for the second half of the season. We would draw a new team for him, though, and he'd have no chance at promotion this season, but what the heck?
I think we should give slimer till this half-season deadline, though.

Well, the deadline is Sunday, so I would put in forfeits on Monday. As long as the results are in before I check Monday, everything is fine. Forfeits won't be inputted willy-nilly, especially for games where it's not clear if either player tried to get it in.
If you need more time to get your games in, just let me know before Sunday, and we'll avoid forfeits.
As to the Arsenal: What we will do is give forfeits for all 5 games for that team for this half-season, and Sudz will join in the second half. We will draw a new team for him, complete with the option for him to re-draw two times if he doesn't like the team he gets. His team will be from the Top Tier, so he could end up with Arsenal, who knows?
He will have no chance at promotion this year, but he can get some games in and get familiar with the league module and so on.

That's fine. I have 2 games left, one against yourself. Any chance you could play me today, and increase my chances at relegation?Naples39 wrote:Hmmm, I'll do my best, but I may be asking for that extension. I have little to no time to play this weekend, and the board has been out of commission so I couldn't hook up with people to play the last few days. I'll let you know on Sunday where I stand on things.
One more thing- Monday is the day I will put the second half schedule into the module.
I think I have time to play at like 11pm eastern time tonight. Look for a PM later tonight to confirm.Zeppo wrote:That's fine. I have 2 games left, one against yourself.
