I definitely owe a big thanks to Gurantsu for a great starting setup. After a few laps to tweak it up I had most of the settings spot on. And luckily I was able to overcome my pit crews 2nd major screwup in 2 races ... somebody is gonna be fired. Now I just need to prove the win wasn't a fluke.
On to Australia.

It was a great setup for me too, I was passing guys laft and right until I got a little over excited and wrecked.mixdj1 wrote:I definitely owe a big thanks to Gurantsu for a great starting setup. It passed both of us, so I'll share that pain with you.Gangrel wrote:Lo-lite: A Super Aguri over took me......
I guess I'll take tenth, given the fact i had the worst setup on the grid... (65%)
You think our setup was bad there? Since practice has been one long unmitigated cock up, you just wait until you see what I've got lined up for Melbourne

Here is a combined post based on two posts I made in the Driver Chat section of the site, based on a concern I have. Posted here just in case people aren't using the Driver Chat function:
>>>Are we doing this daily? I suggest a few days between each race. I don't know about you cats, but I barely get near my computer on weekends due to kids, family, hobbies, yard, housework. I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, and it's not because of my position in the standings. Trust me, I love this thing as much as anyone. But every day? That's 19 races, times three days, 57 consecutive days? Some of us can't get to our PC's every day. Maybe we should take an informal straw poll to see whether we should avoid weekend races or certain weekday races. I don't know about you cats, but I try to stay as far away from my PC as possible on weekends unless I'm working since I'm on one for 10 hours per day Monday through Friday.<<<
Thanks,
PK

Sorry guys, missed the posts over in the BAtracer forums. To top off the last couple of weeks, my son has the rotavirus pretty badly and we have been at the Scottish Rite Childrens hospital facility down the street. He is doing much better today and held down food for the first time in a few days.
Anyway, I am perfectly fine with pausing the game for weekends, or having a few days between races. Just let me know how you want to work it. I don't think I can just set a schedule, so I will have to manually start and stop, but that's no big deal. It looks like qualifying just finished for Melbourne, should I stop it now? What is the general consensus for waiting between races?

Don:
Very sorry to hear about your son. I hope he's well soon. I feel for you, man: When it rains, it proverbially pours.
I'll submit to the majority, but I would love for races only to take place Monday through Friday. I'd love to have weekends off from the racing.
Thanks,
PK

We will finish off Melbourne today, and then I will stop it and start it again tomorrow. What is the time slot everyone would like to have for the qualifying/races to happen on the given days? Right now it appears to be happening around 6:00pm EDT. If that is good for everyone I will try to keep it at that time.
