Pacman and my favorite, Galaga will be coming to the Marketplace soon.

I played through the whole thing last night. It was a pretty good demo, nice graphics and the control was a lot easier than the previous Tomb Raider games.sportdan30 wrote: I was still at around 57% after 45 minutes when I said screw it. I'll try downloading it again this evening.
If anyone has played it, is it any good?

You can always play the Prize Budget for Boys' version of Pac-man, entitled Pac-Mondrian at their website:sportdan30 wrote:Pacman and my favorite, Galaga will be coming to the Marketplace soon.

From their page:
"When Piet Mondrian arrived in New York in 1940, he heard the Boogie Woogie piano of Meade Lux Lewis, Albert Ammons, and Pete Johnson, and from then on refused to dance to any other jazz, leaving the floor in a huff if the music didn't boogie.
After years of completely abstract work he abandoned the black grid to use yellow lines and red, blue, and grey colour blocks to build a representation of New York infused with all the vibrant kinetic energy of raucous road-house piano blues in 'Broadway Boogie Woogie'.
Pac-Mondrian transcodes 'Broadway Boogie Woogie' into a Pac-Man video game: the painting becomes the board, the music becomes the sound effects, and Piet Mondrian becomes Pac-Man.
Pac-Mondrian disciplines the syncopated rhythms of Mondrian's spatial arrangements into a regular grid, then frees the gaze to follow the viewer's whimsical perambulations of the painting: a player's thorough study of the painting clears the level.
Each play of the game is an act of devotion. Mondrian's geometric spirituality fuses with his ecstatic physicality when Pac-Mondrian dances around the screen while the Trinity of Boogie Woogie jazz play 'Boogie Woogie Prayer'.
Each play of the game is an improvisational jazz session. Pac-Mondrian sits in as a session drummer with Ammons, Lewis, and Johnson, hitting hi-hats, cymbals, and snares as he eats pellets."
I had to somewhat study this for a lit class that I had. Anybody ever study, or read, L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E poetry? Tough to wrap one's head around.

It took me 3 1/2 hours to download the demo last night. I started it when I got home from work at 6:30 and it wasn't done until 10:00. I played through the demo and I really enjoyed it. I'm a big Tomb Raider fan but the last couple of games have been underwhelming. The demo showed a lot of potential.
I wish I knew what was going on with the download speeds for the demos though. Some demos only take me 20-30 minutes to download while a few have taken over 3 hours.

Was playing the Battlefield II this morning. Damn that game is awesome!!
I was sniping, using the grenadier and launching shells at guys, flying Helos, drove a hummer a couple times.
This game is a must buy for me and Kev after playing the demo. I think I may like it more than GRAW. For me right now the controls in GRAW are a bit too overwhelming right now. My son seems to get it just fine though.

Oh hell no, I can't believe this news. I want SNES or Saturn Bomberman, not that 3D garbage. Bomberman is best enjoyed on a 2D realm not that junk in those pictures. /ddtrane cries/Boltman wrote:I saw the pics on OS, it looks like crap to me, they have completely ruined a great franchise.Zeppo wrote:Bomberman online would be sick amounts of fun!

You guys realize that there is a next gen Bomberman game being worked on for 360 right? That's what the screenshots are from. If there is a Bomberman on the Live Arcade it would be like the older ones.ddtrane wrote:Oh hell no, I can't believe this news. I want SNES or Saturn Bomberman, not that 3D garbage. OK, I'll hold back the tears for now. Boltman had me worried.ScoopBrady wrote:You guys realize that there is a next gen Bomberman game being worked on for 360 right? downloaded this demo tonight and all I can say is wow...it's very impressive. This might be my first new game purchase for the 360.GTHobbes wrote:I've only played through part of the Tomb Raider demo, but it's pretty clear this should be a quality title. I can't see how anyone that liked the original Tomb Raider games could not like this one.

Wow, what a wonderful, entertaining game. Well, what I played of if from the demo. The demo allows you to play one hole from each course. Also, you play a head to head match up against Vijay Singh for one hole. I'm very impressed with this game. I'd consider purchasing it on the cheap.10spro wrote:For those of you that haven't played Tiger Woods yet, a demo is available now.
Now, for some more news. A demo of Moto GP should be right around the corner. No pun intended.
