TOCA 3 Question
Does this game have an elevated camera option unlike TOCA 2?
Thanks.

I don't need the mirror. I assign the 'look behind' to down on the R-stick, and that works great for me.
I much prefer the cockpit view on most cars, but for the open-wheel cars, I find the cockpit view is often higher than the hood view. Somehow the cameras seem switched in most of the open-wheel cars (not all). I like being lower to the road, especially in the open cockpits. The thing that bugs me about the hood view in the full-body cars (what is the right term?) is that it is centered on the car. I love having that offset view, gives me a much better feeling of the cars. But obviously, for the open-wheelers, that isn't an issue.

Yeah, that is what is so annoying about their design decision in this area. I have received no response from Codemasters as to why this is the case. It just doesn't make sense. You wouldn't see the mirrors if your camera was on the hood anyway. The only real view that you would see mirrors in is the cockpit view. I just don't understand why it wouldn't at least be an option. I mean, its not like they are even trying to simulate all the individual real world mirrors on each vehicle and class type. They are just giving a generic mirror, why not offer that in the cockpit mode as well.Zeppo wrote: The thing that bugs me about the hood view in the full-body cars (what is the right term?) is that it is centered on the car.
Oh, to answer your question, I think some of the acceptable terms are "Tin Tops", "Saloon Cars", "Closed Cockpit Cars", - any others?
Setup question
I have a question. Does anyone know of any sites that would help with car setups for the stockcars on Toca 3?
Thanks.
Thanks.
