Folks:
I'm psyched to get in more racing tonight! Early start for me, 9:30p EST, and if no one shows up then I'll just do laps with the CPU until people get there.
I was considering doing an MLR tonight, but I think we should do more mini-series instead. I reserve the right to throw in some 10- or 15-lappers with the works in lieu of the big MLR, we'll see!

You know I'm there, man, at 9:30 p.m. Any class, any format -- I just want to race!
Keep unlocking those classes and surprising us with new cars every night, Zep!
Take care,
PK

That was massive fun last night, fellas. Good to have nearly all of the "regulars" back, including Terry and Provo, and forensicd is a fine addition to the crew.
Let's do it again tonight!
Take care,

Yeah, you could certainly tell I wasn't a regular in your series last time. I used to be fairly competitive 'out of the box' when these games came out.ProvoAnC wrote:I'm rusty as f***, but that was good craic last night
I'll be there tonight too
Looks like I need some practice time.
Fun, though. Definitely!

Yeah, that was dirty pool! And Lord, those cars are an unreal handful. I have even more respect for the legends of the 60s, such as Clark, Hill, Surtees, Brabham, Gurney, etc., etc.mixdj1 wrote:That was great fun last night. See you tonight! Probably around 10:30 p.m. for me.

Best.
Game.
Ever.
Period.
I played from about 4:30PM until midnight straight. I told my wife when she picked it up last night to pack a lunch and hit the bedroom or something; TV was mine.
What an absolutely unbelievable game. After Zeppo's session ended, I hopped into a room with my brother and we went back and forth with random stuff. THEN I went off and did the entire oval pro career so I could unlock the IRL and crap.
Those 60's Grand Prix cars were certainly...fun. It took me 2 or 3 laps to really get the hang of them. The most impressive thing is, I've played GPL with an XBox pad on the PC with XBCD drivers. TOCA3 feels a LOT like GPL did. Twitchy, can't brake or accelerate while turning much at all or you'll loop it. That can only be a good thing.
I can't figure out what cars I like the best because I don't think we ever did the same thing twice. The 5-cars-nose-to-tail-for-4-laps rally race was a hoot, though. All in all, very fun first night for me. Didn't go as poorly as I expected being my first time, but I did kill a few more people than I'd care to
. Sorry, guys.
Wow. Just...wow.

I disagree. I think they should appear nightly. If you can tame those beasts, you can tame anything. I had more gratification with that race than all the rest of them combined.hulkster29 wrote:had alot of fun last night.. those lotus car should never, ever appear againthere must have been a yellow on every turn..
