Our local news channel ran a quick story on the 360 and its defects. They interviewed some guy who's had problems from the get go with freezes and system restarts. They said Microsoft has confirmed a fraction of the 360s have a problem with freezing up.

So far, I haven't had any problems but this kind of thing is disturbing. I guess there's always going to be problems with launch products.

Are you guys using your 360 standing up?

It saves lots of space where I have it, but I'm worried about the rumors that it can cause the console to malfunction.

I use it both ways...in my office it stands up and in my living room it lays down. Never had a problem.

I have mine laying horizontal. Haven't had an issue yet. I have heard rumors of problems with it in the vertical position, but no one on here has mentioned any problems.
