OK, got the new box all set up and ready to rock. I´ve got the 2 free month deal, but I seem to recall some issues with using it before converting to the full subscription. So...

What shoud I do/avoid when setting up my account to make this as painless as possible?

I´ve already deduced that I should probably get an AR, and I´ll work on that this weekend. But I do recall there were Gamertage issues etc, so if anyone can save me some hassle down the road I would much appreciate it.

I didn´t use the free card when I signed up for my XBL account but all you should need to do is make sure you have a valid credit card linked to your account, and select the subscription method that you want when it´s automatically renewed (monthly/yearly). Other than that, I can´t see anybody messing it up or having difficulties as that´s all there is involved with one´s account.
Anyone have any experience with wireless controllers for the Xbox? I have wireless for the PS2 and GC, and I hate to ruin my zen-like existence with a singel wired controller

I´ve checked around, but reviews on the net seem mixed for most of the options. Of course most of them are barely legible and apparently written by 11 year olds...like most things on the net LOL Any help would be appreciated.
