XSN frustrations

Post by Slumberland »

I played a game in the Calvert Games/DSP Rivals league last night, only to have my victory registered as an incomplete on my end (and a loss). I didn´t do anything out of the ordinary to warrant it.

Anyone else out there having weird problems with XSN not registering results correctly? I hope that at some point, Microsoft can give some power to commissioners to make corrections as needed. I know that opens up a whole new can of worms by inviting corrupt commisioners to ruin things for everybody, but I also think it´s strange that commissioners only have the power to change league mottos after commencement and nothing else.

That is messed up that the commissioners are unable to change the results in the league if a mistake is made. They should at least keep the option for the players to forfeit a game after an incompletion is reported so we can at least get the win credited to the proper player when a mistake is made, I hate having a cheap win on my record.

XSN had many problems over the weekend, some say it was an overload of new players. My links games and fever games from Saturday never posted, one Inside drive game posted...I got the win even though the kid wiped my arse.

While this isn´t really "XSN" related, I feel like complaining about my first few games of ID 2004 online.

I started games with four people, and all four of those people quit. Two of them took every single shot from behind the three point line, and the other two just quit after I was beating on them (but only about 2-3 minutes into the first quarter). And I don´t understand why those guys were taking all of those three pointers, because they weren´t really going in that often. I think the score at the 2nd quarter with one of the guys was like 48-15 me, and then he quit. That was also my longest game played yet, heh.

I hope I can play some of you guys soon as I´m sure this game is a real blast online against worthy opponents.

I´m going to create a ranked game to see if that will deter people from quitting the game.

I was also just about to post that the menu music in the game is terrible, and a Jurassic 5 track just started.

That Jurrasic 5 track is great.

I´m always willing to play, Airdog, although I´ve been super busy as of late and tring to limit myself to league games. I should be around on Saturday if you want to play.

Well, I got to play against a good opponent and won 108-85. This game is really fun online. And I doubt I´ll see you online on Saturday Slumber, as I usually go out, but thanks for the offer.
