Ummm...they can complain. It was a missed call. That's not exactly "what goes around comes around"...that's just the dumbest thing I've ever read. Hell...that was about as good a job of officiating that I've seen this bowl season. Outside of that one call, they pretty much got everything else right.

Joking aside your right. But they also gave it back to USC by not reviewing that int where the ground caused the fumble.

I think usc's weak schedule didnt prepare them well for Texas. I am not really happy usc lost, just happy that this silly hype generated by ESPN will come to an end.

ESPN can now wipe the USC DNA off the set.

Agreed about the ESPN hype.

But how was USC's schedule weak? They play in the Pac 10, so their schedule included some games against crappy teams. But it isn't like the Big 12 was top-to-bottom awesome this year, and every conference has sh*tty teams. USC won at Oregon and Notre Dame...and also played a non-conference game against Fresno St., a top 25 team.

Great Game...Congrats to Texas...I really could have less cared who won the game at least the hype lived up to the game just like that Miami vs The Ohio State game a few years back.

Also, mad props to USC for having such a long winning streak.

Anyone recognize the first two people interviewed after the game by ABC?

Pete Carroll and Matt Leinart.

Yeah, and Leinarts comments were so unclassy.

"We're still the better football team, they just made the plays tonight."

What kind of sh*t is that?

Fresno State is no top 25 team. They have lost 4 in a row including games to Nevada, Tulsa and LA Tech. FSU is nothing more than a high profile cupcake.

Which is also like telling your defensive teammates they suck. What a dick.

Well, Vince Young won the 'real heisman' tonight over the 2 USC Heisman winners.

Will Bush's stock drop for the draft? Texas' Defense is almost like a mini-nfl defense, and they pretty much stopped Bush tonight. I wonder how Bush will do when he's not playing Fresno State and the pac10 schools in the nfl.

It also makes one question his decision making with his 1st half lateral heroics. That really suprised me coming from a player of his caliber.

Well, if that was a "mini-NFL" defense, then the Pro Scouts must be licking their chops, especially when you consider the 170+ total yards Reggie Bush put up.

That reminded me of that pats/pitt game this year in the nfl. Randle El lateral turnover changed that whole game around and the pats won it at the end.

Vince Young, I had not watched him much before tonight, but DAMN! The kid is a big, strong Michael Vick(not as fast) that can throw(although funky). But he can freaking play and has heart to boot. I can't believe how shifty he is for a guy so damn big.

Reggie Bush is still the man, he is still a man amongst boys. I would still take him first in the draft.

Vince Young should go pro NOW. His stock can only drop next year.

Matt Leinart should have kept his mouth shut - the kid forgot how to lose with dignity. I can't believe how bad his press conference was. He played a good game.

Dwayne Jarrett has some great hands. The kid catches everything. Not much more to say about him.

Congrats Longhorn fans.

Great game. Hook em Horns! I'm a VY fan, I really am. Kid is just pure fun.

Terribly coached game by PC tonight, though. Aggressive coaching is one thing, but that was just arrogant IMO. Take the FG in the 1st, and punt the damn ball and secure the W.

A mini NFL defense...Come on...Lendale White looked pretty good tonight against that Texas defense.

I had no problem with Caroll going for it in the fourth since he is trying to win a national championship and he went for the win at ND also.

Texas was a one man team tonight and his name was Vince Young. Not taking anything away from the rest of the Texas players but Vince Young was the difference maker in this game and this season for Texas.

Not to steal this thread or anything but this is about College Football. Here is my VERY early prediction.

Brian Van Gorder was Georgia's defensive coordinator last year and Broyle award winner. He left UGA to go be the Linebacker coach at Jacksonville. They had a good defense and he was doing a good job.

However, now he is the head coach at Georgia Southern.

skip a beat.

Bobby Bowden won't be at FSU forever. Mark Richt was the old offensive coordinator there and I believe is well liked by most FSU fans and alumns. He is now the Georgia head coach for those that don't know.

When Bowden leaves FSU, I believe Richt will resign at Georgia and be named the next head coach at FSU.

When this happens, Georgia will be out of a coach and so will Georgia Southern. Van Gorder will resign at Southern and be named the next head coach of Georgia.

As a Georgia fan I would not be upset. Van Gorder is one of the few coaches I like.

So to recap.

Richt will one day be the next head coach at Florida State

Brian Van Gorder will be the next Georgia head coach.

Sick 'EM!

the same could be said about USC. Take Bush away from USC and they would not even have played Texas tonight.
