Sorry brother but he doesn't call a game anymore he guesses it. Time to hang up the mike for him and Musbuger.

Good first half but what's with all the backyard football? Why would Reggie even think about pitching the ball after a huge run? At least when Vince did it he made a good pitch, despite the knee being on the ground .

Should be a good finish and once again, HOOK EM!!!

That senile old bugger is almost impossible to listen to anymore. He was horrid in the OSU title game back in Jan '03--and he isn't like a bottle of Pino..age is not helping.

It's just the voice, bro...he's a friggin' legend, and I wouldn't put him in a room with Furburger for any amount of money. At least he doesn't play football psychology by telling us what's on so and so's mind right now...

Does LenDale White remind anyone else of Edgerrin James? I think Bush is going to be a helluva pro, but LenDale is going to be pretty darn good himself.

Damn, just had to add a note about how seet Reggie Bush's sideline TD run looked in HD :)

This 2nd half of football by the USC offense is amazing. Everyone knew their offense was explosive, but they are putting on a clinic against one of the better defenses in the nation.

USC OL is dominating the trenches.

All those gashes by White up the middle opened it up for Bush to bounce outside on that TD run.

The line is also making the play-action for Leinart work too in the second half.

This is a good up and down game but the USC OL is playing better than any other unit.

The Texas kicker choked but the way the USC offense is going, the missed PAT and FG may be moot.

What a f***in game. Texas is on the 10 yard-line with 30 seconds to play. Vince Young is a f***in stud.

In-f*cking-deed. Can't count USC out, though, even with only :19 left.

# 90 on USC followed the back out of the field rather than holding contain. How can you do that after the night Young has had on the ground? 19 seconds to go.

Yeah very entertaining game.

Carroll was bringing those mixed blitz packages which he brought over from the pro game.

On the TD play, they tried to overload to the left side and brought two inside LBs, which they'd done a couple of plays before.

Maybe he showed Young the blitzes once too many times.

When they got around the red zone, Leinart was strapping his helmet on, as if he expected to have to try to score again.

Agreed about Vince Young. I can't figure his pro potential out...does he have the arm for the deep ball? He's faster than Culpepper, but bigger and slower than Vick. A new Randall Cunningham? Don't know, but he's an awesome college QB, at worst.

Also USC using the last time out before the two-point attempt may have hurt. Looks like Carroll was surprised his defensive players used it.

Great game, usc fans, please dont complain about that missed call on the Young lateral TD when he was down. What goes around comes around (Bush pushing Lienart vs ND ) :)

Ummm...they can complain. It was a missed call. That's not exactly "what goes around comes around"...that's just the dumbest thing I've ever read. Hell...that was about as good a job of officiating that I've seen this bowl season. Outside of that one call, they pretty much got everything else right.

It may have been a zone blitz with the LDE dropping back into the short zone while the inside backers blitzed up the middle along with maybe an outside blitz on the right side.

But Young had too much room and LDE couldn't cut Young off.
