I still want to do a DSP MLR Series in those XKRs. . . . Not to mention the never-even-considered Masters GP Series!!
I'm all over that, Zep, whenever you want to start. There must be a few more cats around here who would like to do that!

Take care,

I just "re-acquired" Toca 2 myself but I can't play online (I don't think) because I transferred my Live account to the 360. Can you still play online on the original Xbox once you transfer the accout to the 360? If so then I might jump in a race with you guys. Oh, and I suck :)

Yes you can. You can use your XBL account on as many Xboxes or 360s as you want. You can stick your XBL profile onto a memory card, and take it to any Xbox and connect using that account. There is no limit on how many Xboxes or 360s you can use your account with.

The one thing I don't know is whether you can be signed in on more than one Xbox or 360 at once.

But there is nothing machine-exclusive about XBL accounts.

OK, so I was reading on some forum somewhere (I think it was AVS) that there can be issues with 'recovering' your XBL acct. on multiple machines.

What I've done in the past is copy my XBL acct. onto a memory card, and using that memory card, sign in on a second Xbox (I haven't saved it onto the second Xbox's HDD, and while I don't think it would be a problem, it doesn't seem necessary, as I can sign in with no problem from the mem. card). Also, I know that at home I've had my Xbox and 360 (both with the same acct. on the HDD) able to sign in with no issues (again, however, I haven't tried to have them both signed in at the same time).

I think the original poster at AVS was upset because he plays multiplayer with friends on his 360. He had friends over, and one of his friends used the 'account recovery' method to get his acct. on this 360. Well, once this friend got home, he discovered he had to start over on some games because the game saves were linked to the XBL acct. and the recovery maneuver had reset those saves and even downloads and such. Of course, had this guy just copied the acct. to a memory card, and used that to sign in on this 'foreign' 360, everything would have been fine. The poster's complaint was that with only 2 slots for memory cards, only 3 of a possible 4 XBL accounts could be used for online gaming. Certainly a very rarely confronted problem, and I would think for most of us not an issue. Thing is, I think they could copy the acct.s from a mem. card onto the HDD and be fine, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I guess I just wanted to temper my assurances that multiple machines using the same XBL acct. would be no problem at all. I am still sure that it is not a problem to have a 360 and an Xbox use the same account (done it more than once). But if you are going to use your XBL acct. on multiple 360s, don't use the 'account recovery' method to activate the account on the second 360; rather, use a memory card. I think you can even transfer the XBL acct. to the second HDD as long as you are saving it from a mem. card, but I'm not sure about that.

I haven't tried any of that...I just got a second live account because sometimes we have both the 360 and the Xbox online at the same time. Not worth it to save a few bucks if we can't be online at the same time. For a one gamer household running back and forth between Xboxs might work, but for me it's not worth the money I'd save.

Does anyone play Project Gothem 2? How does TOCA compare? I like Gothem 2, but it gets boring after a while. Maybe there are faster cars in the game?
