That was the problem with Kordell Stewart. He wasn't good at reading coverages so if the primary receiver wasn't open he would just run or throw an interception. He could run, but he couldn't scramble to buy more time to make huge passing plays. McNabb was much more effective once he learned to use athletic ability to buy more time and throw downfield after the coverage broke down.Wrekcut1 wrote:He complains that he is more of a pocket QB now instead of a running QB. That is normal. As you get more experience you learn that if you are patient and watch your receivers that you will get more yardage from a pass than a scramble. DM still scrambles, but he does it less now. I don't see the problem with this as he is more experienced now and knows to watch for an opportunity to pass.

A rep from the NAACP calls him a sellout and gets a pass. Since when does the NAACP cover sports? If I was a member of the NAACP I would demand this guy retract everything he wrote and kiss McNabb ass in front of the city of Phlidelphia.
Wait a sec...the NAACP is accusing McNabb of playing the race card?! The NAACP?!
That's a hoot...
