Cool details about Operation Flashpoint

Post by pk500 »

Most Flashpoint freaks know all of this stuff, but it still is cool. Has anyone found or opened the hidden content menu?

I played the original on the PC and man was it hard. I like how realistic it was.

I could only get to as far as where you are captured by the russians or someone. Great Great game, I thought I was the only one who purchased it though.

Diddy:

We've got a small but devoted community of DSPers who play the game at least once per week on Xbox Live.

It's now pretty much down to ProvoAnC, pigpen81, thedeicide, hulkster29 and I since more and more guys have Xbox 360s, but we still have a hell of a good time.

Join us, if you get Flashpoint for the Xbox!

Take care,
PK

No worries, Hulkster. Looking forward to shooting with you again soon.

Last night was epic. Piggy, Provo and I finally finished that co-op mission called Shadow Killers where you blow up the convoy with satchel charges at night, sneak into town and blow up the fuel depot, clear out the town of armor and enemies and then run like hell to that car about 500 meters out of town and drive away.

I think it took us close to 40 minutes to finish after three or four earlier failed efforts last night. We had zero casualties, including the one AI guy!

Fantastic gaming.

Take care,
PK

I saw you guys on and thought about joining. Couldn't tear myself away from the damn 360.

Anyway, I think Op Flashpoint is one of the most realistic games I've played. They did a good job with it. Too bad the graphics make many overlook the game. It's not even close to a shooter where you can shoot your way to safety. Playing CoD 360, I find myself wishing for some Op Flashpoint realism.

PK next time you have a game post it on the forum and I'll try to make it.

Not going to buy it at the price I saw it at Gamespot today. But you guys make me want it bad heh.

Gimme some, me and my son Kevin co-op offline worthy of purchase scenarios!

I may buy it with our Christmas cash (or his LOL) if I hear something positive to the 2 player offline co-op aspect, and for the record...I have 2 Live accounts one for me and one for Kev!!

We seem to want to do this, or at the very least, me. :D
