Hey fellas. I know that a lot of us like to watch hockey, but was curious to know if anyone follows college hockey at all. There is a huge matchup this weekend as my Badgers head to Mariucci Arena to face the hated Golden Gophers of Minnesota. Badgers are #1 in the nation (12 game unbeaten streak, haven't given up more than 2 goals yet this year) and Minnesota is #3 or #4 depending on the poll. There is a really nice contrast in styles here as the Badgers play a little closer to the vest and the Gophers have so much firepower it's obscene. Add in the fact that the Badgers are 0-10-0 in their last 10 trips to Minny and this is a huge early-season matchup.
If anyone can pick these games up on a dish I highly recommend watching, should be some great hockey. Games are Friday and Saturday of this week at 7pm CST.
Anyone else follow college hockey?

Being from Boston area, I follow College hockey all the time. Our Hockey program would outdraw our basketball program by over 6,000 people in a regular week. 500 at a basketball game and 6,500 at a hockey game.
I follow Providence College hockey mostly and Tim Army is doing a great job as they lead Hockey East. (All the good east schools conference)
Actually, The west might not be as strong as I thought because Colarado College went to Umass and lost but the West is far superior this year especially Minnie with Kessell and Wisco has the Eaves Brothers (Boston College greats) father.
