The only people who aren't going to get one are the one's who didn't plan ahead...and I have absolutely ZERO remorse for anyone who didn't preorder.
I pre-ordered, was on the top third of the list of pre-orders, and I'm still not getting one. I was told not to expect one before the end of the year, so I cancelled my pre-order. I don't expect any remorse from you as it is just a videogame system, but I think TS is a little tough.
This launch really just reminded me that it is a business and I'm glad to see that so many of you are turning a nice profit.

Sorry if I sounded so harsh...just got pissed off by an ignorant poster.
Anyways, if you preordered and didn't get one, then that isn't your fault (I'm presuming it was at EB/GS?). I knew they would drop the ball with this launch, considering how they handled the psp launch...I'm glad I avoided them.
Anyways, I hope you're able to find one. My plan going in was to get a free xbox, so I cleared up some funds and got prepared for this...if some rich strangers want to pay me extra because they "really gotta have it", then so be it...I'm not holding a gun to anyone's head.
I dont think im ignorant i understand the pre order routine, its the fact that you guys are just doing it to make a buck, when there could be a kid out there who wont get one for Xmas, then its santas fault and no one believes any more, then my kids will stop fighting, the middle east will cease all holy wars and then Family guy will be cancled again.
If I did not sell the ones I had, then there are four people that most likely would not have one for christmas. I am doing it for the kids. I am helping them out by selling them on ebay.
I don't resent the resellers at all. You have to do what you have to do to feed your family. Some people scalp tickets, some scalp game consoles. It's all good
If this continues to be an easy way to earn money, I can see people camping out to be the first in line to pre-order the next console (not sure if PS3 pre-orders are being taken now).

I don't believe he was BSing us, Danimal. I do think we would have had to take him up on his offer that Monday night pre-launch. I figure by the morning of yesterday, he had sold them all.
I sent him a PM right before I posted above, and he has yet to look at it, so he probably hasn't even visited the site since then.

I posted a message exactly 16 minutes after his post, he was still online at the time of my post if the forum monitor is to be checked. I think that was responding pretty fast.
I'l still give him the benefit of the doubt, mainly because I want a system

Ooh, hey, right you are. I wouldn't trust the forum monitor to be accurate, but still, 16 minutes after he offered, you'd think he'd at least respond with a yes or no.
Oh well. My deal was that I figured to be set yesterday, so I didn't try to take him up on it. But of course, I slept through my alarm, and then the CC that told me they had between 20 and 40 actually had 12. I have a feeling that they had more than 12 in the back but several were already claimed by employees, but that's just the bitter part of me talking.
