I'm thinking maybe J&R is a good place to try this week. When I called the retail store's video games section on the phone, I was amazed at how forthright and full of info the guy I was talking to was. They got 200 in for launch, which was far and away the most of any brick and mortar store I tried down near D.C. except the Best Buy doing the midnight opening special. So I'm thinking maybe they get a bunch next go round as well. I'm starting to think there will be regular trickles each week, but I have no clue.
The other option I have is a very nice guy at the Circuit City there at Union Square who is a boss in the warehouse. I think on Tuesday or Wednesday I may walk in and see if I can talk to him. Maybe if I am nice he will agree to give me a call when new ones come in. I will be coming back up to the City on Tuesday afternoon, so may do some running around in N.VA that morning.
What about those guys at Multimedio 1.0? What's their story on this whole thing?

I grew up in Charleston and my family is still there. I go up once or twice a year to visit. I didn't realize how small Charleston, IL was until I moved to Huntsville, AL.
To keep this on topic, it looks like my best bet to pick up a 360 is Rhino which is a new video game chain in the Southeast. They are selling their restock systems (whenever that is) first come first serve and there is a store five minutes from my work. Now I just need to add their number to my speed dial at the office.
My two local Targets are getting in some 360's this week. Aside from employees grabbing some, they will be out on the floor for sale for whomever walks in and buys them.
So, if you can take the week off and check all the stores, you will probably score one. I'll keep you posted on what I see.

The guy who used to own the store sold it and moved out west, so I don't have the connections there I used to. If it's anything like it used to be, they probably got two or three systems, if any.
