new NBA 2k6 gameplay videos
Hi, here are amazing new videos. What do you think about it?. To me they look like it is going to be the most enjoyable game for Xbox 360, period. Very realistic!.
The lightning, the presentation and the Arenas are the only thing that NBA live 06 has better. But when you see the shots so artificial and the rebounds so arcades and weird...
It looks like that when it is time to play there is a clear winner...2k6!.
Alex

Spooky,
I don't know if you've played 2k6 on the Xbox/PS2, but the game is probably on Fast or Normal speed. The first thing I did when I got it was to drop it down to Slow. It seems much more realistic. Having it any faster seems to make it more choppy and jerky...at least it makes it more apparent to me. Kick it down to "Slow" and all is well. And remember...all of these jersey and sweat animations will be moot when you're actually playing at a normal angle. They probably had to overdo them a bit so that they would show up a little bit in the normal playable angles.

Umm what am I not getting about these. I mean the cut scenes / replays and presentation look fantastic. The actual gameplay doesn't blow me away.
This is the first time I have looked at any videos of this, as I could care less about NBA basketball, but since everyone was going ga-ga I figured I'd check it out.
I'm not sure what is so fantastic though about the gameplay video.

2K6 happens to play a fantastic game of basketball, so it's easy to get excited about. That said, the actual gameplay doesn't have a next-gen look the way that Live does. The replays look fantastic, but the detail doesn't come across in playable camera angles the way Live's does.Danimal wrote:Umm what am I not getting about these. But again, because it plays a great game of basketball, it's not hard to get excited about 2K6.
Totally agree. Exactly my impressions too.seanmac31 wrote:2K6 happens to play a fantastic game of basketball, so it's easy to get excited about. Yep. You guys have got to check out the HD gameplay vids. It looks nothing like a videogame. This looks like the real deal. Just click below and download the 3 HD game play vids...Waddupcouzin wrote:check out the HD movies at OP, way different than looking at the gamespot movies. Nite and Day.
BTW I think he meant OS instead of OP
