Is anyone really impressed by the new (11/10) videos over at IGN? Based on that other 360 thread, it seems like this game is on everyone's list. For the life of me, I can't figure out why everyone around here is so willing to drop $60 on this one, other than the name. I know you have to give a game a chance, but I think I've seen all that I need to see.

I haven't been keeping up with all these videos. I think these are only the 2nd or 3rd ones I've seen for Madden. I wasn't impressed at all.

We get it, you don't like Madden 360. It looks like the same old, same old to you. You're not going to get the game. Yada, yada, yada. I'm getting it because it's a football game on a new system. Football games are my favorite and the best thing to me is playing a new football on a new system. I got a DC because I had to play NFL 2k. I got an Xbox because I had to play Fever. Now I'm getting a 360 because I've got to play Madden. I know you don't think it's a new game but to me it looks new. The graphics, presentation, animations, and the way the players move make it look like a new football game to me. I can't wait to get some time with this in all of it's High Def glory. These net videos are nice for a tease but it will look much better in HD.

I wasn't that impressed, but having said that I have to agree with Scoop here as you have gone overboard in your hatred for all things Madden. For someone who doesn't like this game, and admitedly stopped playing Madden years ago, I can for the life of me figure out why you spend so much time in all threads madden. You're practically in every Madden thread at OS with negative comments. It's your life / time to spend as you see fit, but you might want to step back for a minute and consider whether it is worth it.

I'm totally with scoop on this one.

Football is my first love when it comes to videogames. I play a lot of other stuff, but when it comes to gaming no other sport or genre gets the amount of stick time as football.

Other than Madden 2004, I enjoy the franchise quite a bit. I don't know how this game doesn't look new to some people.

In the Madden 06 impressions thread here, people's main complaint, it seems, is the presentation and the overall feeling of been there done that. People want a new look to the game. More atmosphere and improved graphics above any of the gameplay additions that were made to 06.

Now EA is doing just that by completely revamping their interface, adding much improved presentation, getting rid of Madden and Michaels as the play-by-play guys, yet they're somehow f***in up.

I think we can safely say, for the most part, that if you do not enjoy Madden you're not going to like this game. If you do enjoy Madden you will.

Scoop, ANYTIME you want a game look me up. Whether it be for the current Madden on XBOX or the up-coming 360. I'm always game!

Ahh so true. I once spent $700.00 on a 3DO and just to play a new version of Madden. That folks is dedication. It's one thing to dislike a game and not purchase it but questioning others sanity for spending their money as they see fit is a tad much. I have my reasons for waiting until next year to get an Xbox360 and Madden/NCAA 07 but that is my choice, of what I will pay $59.99 for. I hope that anyone who gets Madden 06 has a blast.

Scoop instead of that movie you owe me, just bring that Xbox 360 down here and we can cuddle while playing with Bears and Packers... That was gayer then I had intended for it to be.

Goes to find more lesbian porn to resecure masculinity.

I can't believe I said you were reasonable a few weeks back, you definetly fooled me. You should stick to OS, your anit-EA stivk plays well over there, as for here you have just lost any credability you had.
