Stopped by BB last night and lo and behold they had the 360 set up. While I didn't have much time to play because I was already late picking up a pizza, the sales guy said they are already selling 360 games. I didn't bother to look, but I may go back tonight to see which titles are on the shelves.
The only demo that was playable or should I say allowable to play was COD:2. First and foremost, I can see why I need an HDTV. While I wasn't blown away by the overall graphics, the lighting and clarity was incredible. As been commneted on, the smoke effects look fantastic. The A.I. models looked very realistic as well. What I found most amazing was just the overall action that was going on around me and how realistic it looked. The animations of guys getting shot in the head looked cool as hell. The audio was top notch too.
The controller size felt perfect. To me, it actually seemed a little bit smaller than the "S" controller. I like the feel of it better along with the layout of the buttons.
I just played the Xbox 360 and all I can say is...

I played at Wal-Mart today for the first time and that pretty much sums it up for me as well.sportdan30 wrote:The only demo that was playable or should I say allowable to play was COD:2. I live in a small town and our Wal Mart has one so pretty much everyone should have them by now.fsquid wrote:Do all of the Wal Marts have these now?
I only played the COD2 demo for a couple of minutes and it was impressive, the video for Top Spin 2 looked really good and is the game I am most looking forward too but just saw on ebgames site it's not being released til early next year. So basically I will try to get one on launch day but if I am unable too it won't be a big deal to not have one right away.
