Loving NHL 2K6, I know I'm late to the party

Held off buying this game. I grew weary of the redundant gameplay from past versions.

What a breath of fresh air. By far the greatest representation of the NHL to date.

I'm surprised at how much the enhancements to this game have recaptured my interest.

Love:
1.Backward skating on O&D. Very well done.
2.Individual Team stratedgies
3.Defenseman being effective on O
4.On the Fly playcalling
5.New animation that keeps puck in the zone
6.Goalie animations and the way they react
7.Wrist shots

I've read some people have problems with the AI in certain situations but it is a lot better than it's ever been.

Also, the AI has been very effective scoring on me during breakaways. I think it's because I play at a faster speed and don't slow it way down. I've notice that the AI is a lot more effective if you play with it around default speed.

I was suprised not to see him bashing people on the Xbox preorder thread as guys were talking more how lousy Walmart is, instead of the xbox 360.

I just don't have the patience to deal with the 7/10 theory anymore. You're doing a fine job yourself...so carry on.

It would not be the same w/o you. Plus I enjoy making threads, thus leaving a complete void.

Again you are a DSPal and threfore can't quit the position you hold here at DSP.
