MLB for PSP

Post by tsunami »

I finally got a copy of this game a few days ago and I've been having fun with it. I have a few questions for those that have it/played it:

1. Is there a way to save settings just for Exhibition games? It's a pain in the ass to tweak settings everytime I want to play a game.

2. Is there a way to adjust lineups (both offensively and defensively) for human and CPU teams in Exhibition, especially the CPU pitcher?

3. Is there a quick way to see the opposing teams batting order/lineup without having to go into Game Manager screen?

Also, does anyone else find holding the PSP to give them a major hand cramp? I find it especially uncomfortable with this game since you need to use the Analog nub so much. Honestly, I think the PSP is one of the most ergonomically unfriendly handheld devices I've ever had.

>>>No. The way to do it is to save your settings in a season. Then just load your season and back out of it and your exhibition games will have those settings.

2. Is there a way to adjust lineups (both offensively and defensively) for human and CPU teams in Exhibition, especially the CPU pitcher?

>>>I don't think so. Exhibition is limited.

3. Is there a quick way to see the opposing teams batting order/lineup without having to go into Game Manager screen?

>>> Again I don' think so. Sorry.

Also, does anyone else find holding the PSP to give them a major hand cramp?

>>> Yes.

Your best bet if you don't want to be adjusting your settings every time you want to play an individual game is to just go ahead and start a season. Remember though, what you start with can't be changed. So make sure you have decided on a camera angle and sliders before you get to far into one. Im still playing my season all the time.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll settle on my sliders settings and then start a season.
