Post by pk500 »

Boys:

The 12th Digital Sportspage podcast was posted Oct. 19 and is ready to access here:

If you don't have a podcast syndicator:
digitalsportspage.libsyn.com

If you do have a podcast syndicator, like iTunes or iPodder:
digitalsportspage.libsyn.com/rss

Topics include a small apology to listeners and Microsoft about Microsoft's plans for the Xbox in 2006, a mini-review of FIFA 06, a rant about EA Sports' plans for Madden 06 on the Xbox 360, a look at a big list of new releases and a listener rant from the UK, plus the Time Tunnel, Site of the Week and Person of the Week.

Hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think!

Thanks,
PK

Great show!

I think you should give Battliefield 2 a chance though. I agree that there will be alot of little b*stards playing it . Thats why you have to get a team together and plan strategies and kill the little punks!

Keep up the good work and thanks for the mention.

EA's most improved game is definitely MVP...not Fifa. Fifa is a huge improvement, but MVP was sh*t last year and it's brilliant this year. Fifa went from sh*t to pretty good.

I never thought MVP 2005 sucked. I thought it was decent, a definite improvement over 2004.

FIFA 2005, on the other hand, sucked donkey's testicles. That's why FIFA 06 got the nod from me as EA's most improved. MVP went from good to EA's best game this year, while FIFA went from sh*t to decent this year. FIFA felt more like a complete overhaul this year while MVP felt more like a series of excellent refinements and tweaks.

Six to one, half-dozen to another ... :)

Take care,
PK

Battlefield 2 is a definite rental for me. Highly, highly unlikely I'll buy it, especially with Operation Flashpoint right around the corner.

Take care,

I bought it a few days ago and I think it is a very very good game. I can't wait to see it for the 360...and maybe next year play it. :)

Hasta luego
