Well, at least you have been to a fking WS...at Houston's expense in 1980. Houston has this kind of thing happen EVERY FREAKING TIME. It really gets to a point of being rediculous....
True. Gotta suck seeing that happen. You guys are still in he drivers seat (3-2).

I called that shot the moment Eck stepped into the batter's box in the ninth.

Actually, I told my wife that they were going to regret giving player of the game to Berkman, since they should save it for the guy that would actually win the game.

Incredible game! Pujols showed Berkman what a real home run looks like.

HouOilers, you have to be the most pathetic fan I have ever run across. You are giving up on the Astros with a 3-2 lead, with Oswalt and Clemens waiting in the wings.

Oh, that's right! You were rooting for the Cubs this year because the Astros were through. That's Karma, baby!

P.S. Pettite balked.
Easy on the BS. Until you have lived in Houston for 24 years and seen what I have seen and endured, don't pretend to have a clue what it is like to follow this team.

I have seen them all and they aren't getting any easier to take. If they don't win this Series, I don't believe they will ever get to the WS. You just start to get numb to it all....

I think Oswalt will win on Wednesday. Ensberg is due for a big game, too.

I knew Houston was going to lose the minute Fox started talking about 45 years ago the Colt .45s were born. Besides Lidge just didn't look sharp when pitching to Edmonds.

What was a classic game. I can see Stl going all the way because of this one. Cards are one of those teams that never give up.

Lucky for the Cards that giving up seems to be a way of life in Houston.

Good. Go all 7, beat the crap out of each other, and limp to Chicago. :P

And are you kidding me with this "What we've had to endure" crap. As a Sox and Cubs fan I can only say that you have no idea what enduring is. Your boys will be fine and they'll win it Wednesday night. Should be an exciting series.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.

What an unbelieveable comeback. I think I'm in shock like the majority of Astro fans. Against Lidge none the less. He's the best closer in the game IMO. He had given up what, one run to the Cards in the postseason including last year? He had Pujols totally fooled on the first slider. So many times I've seen Pujols not come through in a situation such as this. To see it live and have it be in a game of this magnitude is unreal.

Oswalt made the Cards look like minor leaguers in game two. He spotted his pitches so well and was just throwing bee bees. I'd go as far to say that I'm more afraid of Oswalt than I am of Clemens.

LaRussa, please for the love of g-d, start Taguchi in right field. Walker is just too banged up to have quality at bats.

Finally, this has turned out to be a great series. I'm just glad we have the chance to witness a game 6. At least the Cardinals will go down fighting.

As I sign off for the evening, no way in hell I would have ever bought this story line in a movie if I saw it in the theater.

Way to go Cards and way to go Albert!

Come on now. The Stros fan on here have been quite hospitible. They haven't been talking much smack if any. These are two teams that have a lot of respect for one another. Both team's fans should too. Houston has tremendous fans.

Last post, I promise. The Cardinals hadn't lost four in a row dating back to the World Series sweep last year. Almost happened tonight.

Gonna be difficult falling asleep tonight.

What is ur point? All you have to do is win your last game of the season to make it a success and Will the Cards burn out like last year or come through? I take the burnout route.

Yeah, I mean the Astros were 15-30 on June 1, so all they know how to do is give up. What an utterly idiotic statement.

Wow, you really take winning with such class and dignity....

For the record, I have seen Berkman hit homeruns as far as Pujols did last night OVER the train tracks in LF.

If Pettitte balked, why didn't they call it?

Kudos to Pujols. Why Garner did not insist that Lidge walk him is beyond me. Game 5 over, Game 6 Wednesday....

In the end, it's just a game. It's turned out to be a great series, and there's no reason now for everyone to get all pissy about it. Lets all enjoy it.

By the way, I went to Kansas. Am I d**** b**?
