OT: Electromagnetic Theory of Consciousness

Post by TRI »

The Electomagnetic Theory of Consciousness ,if correct, could have huge implications for philiosophy, the nature of free will, artificial intellegience, and even possible life after death. It seems that human consciousness is nothing more than a EMF that stores imformation that is accessed by the brain via neurons to produce voluntary behavior, consciousness, self awarness etc. It is more than just information storage though and explains human self awarness and the binding problem in consciousness that has perplexed scientists for many years. The advantage of the EMF is that inofrmation can travel at near the speed of light compared to much slower speeds for Silicon.

This theory is not new, but has implications for future technology and could lead to the develpment of computers that have consciousness and self awareness and can think as humans do. It should also make possible weapons that could simply disrupt the EMF field and brain activity and control behaviour without death or injury.

Is WCO being channeled through TRI in DSP's version of an Ouija board?

Take care,

All I could think of was:

You burden me with your questions
You'd have me tell no lies
You're always asking what it's all about
But don't listen to my replies

You say to me I don't talk enough
But when I do I'm a fool
These times I've spent, I've realized
I'm going to shoot through
And leave you

The things, you say
Your purple prose just gives you away
The things, you say
You're unbelievable

Works better if imagined with a nasally, sing-song British accent.

Next time you and BK meet up I will have him give you one for me, using the Electomagnetic Theory of Consciousness.

Behavior control is a fascinating concept. I suggest any light reader to pack E.O. Wilson's "The Insect Societies" to the beach on their next family vacation. A real yarn. I liked the part about the ants that can send a chemical signal that turns a worker ant into a Manchurian Ant Candidate. The ant will kill its own queen and any larvae and then (along with the colony) starts working for the usurper queen. As for consciousness, I'm clearly no expert, but I find Jack Daniels has many answers.

Saim

Post by patrick721 »

Man I don't post much here, and didn't post much at Sports Reviewers for that matter, but that Siam reference sure brings back memories. What a great web site that was. Does anyone know how Siam, and Superior man are doing?

I think the point TRI was trying to make is that EA Sports is in fact using this thoery to control our behaviors. That explains why so many people buy their products, even when they are inferior. This would exaplain how FIFA outsells WE, and NHL outsells 2k. This was also used on the NFL and Nascar to get them to sign exclusive deals.

See, it really does tie in directly to EA.
