Then you should be really happy with the Saturday start time. :D 10pm Central...
S.O.B.! Seriously, who decides on these times? Don't they realize I have to get up at like 6 in the morning to give my kid breakfast and watch the Wiggles and Doodlebops?

2-0 Cards. No hits in the inning, but we left the bases loaded. Nice pitching by Astacio by striking out Walker and Sanders.

It's do or die for the Redsox, Wakefield's knuckleball better be good or it's all over. Clement will be in the bullpen apparently just in case.

What, so he can give up another 15 runs and really ruin their chances? Stick with the knuckleballer.

Man, great game by Mulder and I hope Morris can wrap it up tomorrow.

Smoltz is such a gamer, I love that guy. (Maybe the only Brave I like)

Braves should hit well in Houston, but they have Oswalt right off the bat.

How can you hate the rookies from the Braves like Francour?

Plus they've had 17 others this year...it's not like the Braves are the same as they have always been. LOL.

I don't hate any of them.. I've just never been a Braves fan.. back since the days of the "special" strikezone.

Maybe it was the marquee match up of Clemens vs. Smoltz, but I was impressed with the Braves fans. They were really involved in the game. I think a lot of it has to do with the young talent the Braves have on their team. The energy of the players translated well to the home crowd.

Seems kind of lame to be quoting myself, but I was right on with this one. Clemens just didn't have it from the start. Smoltz got into some jams early and pitched out of them.

If the Red Sox win tonight, I'm smelling a comeback (unfortunately). Wakefield hasn't pitched well lately, but I think he'll keep them in the game. I think Wakefield and Schilling back to back is going to throw the White Sox off a bit.

And I think the Yankee game is either going to be postponed or delayed. Their predicting some major rainfall tonight in NY.

How can you be impressed with fans who don't sell out a stadium during the playoffs?

I'm not impressed. You had a 1/3 chance of being right by chance alone. :D

Thanks...I guess I'll stop with my Barry Horowitz routine.

Anyone get that reference?

It was freaking raining. How do you expect a full turnout when virtually all media outlets were predicting a rain-out? And like Dan...I think the crowd was freakin' loud last night. Probably louder than I've heard it in the past 5 years. There really was something different about the crowd last night, even though it wasn't at capacity.

I just find it funny that any chance anyone gets, they bash the Braves. How do you bash what is widely regarded as one of the top few organizations in baseball in all aspects? I know people are sick of them, but come on.

I wasn't bashing the Braves...I was taking a jab at the fans. And I wasn't even referring to last night's game. This is not the first time Atlanta fans haven't sold out a playoff game.

You'd be looking like a prophet right now, if you'd stuck to your gut feeling XXX. Red Sox down to their last out and Parker is probably on suicide watch

GO CARDS

Since I like quoting myself....it was a good day. Both of my least favorite teams in the world...lost. Gotta love it. Now if only the halos can finish them off tomorrow...all will be right in the world of baseball.
