he Top Spin 2 lead designer was there to show the game and also unveiled how the players heads would look in the final version of the game. I took a few photographs of these, and yes this was running on a alpha kit in realtime.

It all depends on the gameplay. If the game relies on trick shots as much as the original, then this game will be sh*t regardless of how pretty it looks.

Take care,

Likewise, I also just got topspin for Ps2. Gooooood game, very addicitve. Glad someone finally put a little realism into a tennis game, because previous games felt a little like pong to me. Well okay that's an exaggeration, but you know what i mean. In any case I fully expect top spin 2 will dominate my world, but in the mean time, top spin 1 is pretty damn impressive.

The ping pong feeling on the Xbox is true, now what other differences do you find on the PS2? What players are in?

On the PS2 version, can you save midway through a tournament?

This is actually my most looked forward to title on the 360 as I am a sucker for tennis games, when the first one came out it was what finally made me purchase my xbox.

As for the players in the PS2 version I believe they replaced Sampras and Kournikova with Federer and Sharapova.

take2's stuff for 360 could quite possibly split the world in half with excellence. however, i think top spin on the ps2 will keep me satisfied until then.
