Opera's browser always had a pretty good reputation. I haven't used in in years but just downloaded the most current version and was pretty impressed with it so far.

Jason, do you Firefox? If so, how does it compare?

Yes I do use Firefox and the new version of Opera seems to compare quite nicely. My biggest need is tabbed browsing and both handle that nicely. Since I also do web design, I like to see how sites look in different browsers.

Since it's being offered for free, there's no risk in downloading a copy of Opera and giving it a shot.

Cool. I will give it a shot. Firefox's inability to natively handle WMP files has been pissing me off recently anyway.

Have you guys tried the Maxthon browser? I have been using it for a month or so now. It is a tabbed browser and is fully customizable. Has RSS reader built in and Podcast functionality.

I've been using Maxthon as my main browser for a few years (back when it was called MyIE2). Maxthon is the best tabbed-browser frontend for IE.

It would be really hard for me to switch from Firefox now. It's fantastic, and the extensions customize it in any way with almost any feature you can think of.

Take care,
PK

I kneel before your memory and grasp of the videogames industry. Peter Moore is the only Sega Dreamcast honcho I can remember. Now he's pimping the Xbox, right?

We should just have Jason change the title and make this one of those "100" threads.
