Moto GP 3 Poker Night Wednesday
Boys:
I'm playing host to the first DSP Moto GP 3 Poker Night at 10:30 p.m. (EDT) Wednesday, release day for the game.
The game can handle up to 16 racers online, I believe. I'm not sure how many my connection will support, but I could handle around 12 with Moto GP 2. Maybe if we find a stronger connection among us we can switch hosts once people arrive.
Post here if interested. Man, I can't wait!
Take care,
PK

We're still on for tonight, fellas! I need to get out to EB this afternoon.
I know the new fantasy city tracks are a big attraction, but I also want to run a nice handful of the classic true Moto GP tracks, such as Mugello, Jerez, Sachsenring and Philip Island, to name a few.
It's going to be a long, fun night!
Take care,
PK

Just wondering, otherwise I'd be an extreme menace on the track when I combine my lack of skill with my unfamiliarity with the circuits and how to get around them on a bike.
Not sure. Don't worry -- even MGP vets will be rusty unless Kruza shows up. I noticed he was practicing with MGP 2 last night on XBL, and he's fast as hell.

Nobody is expecting a classic Rossi-Gibernau duel tonight. We're just going to have fun and kick the tires of the game, seeing all it hopefully has to offer. We won't get serious until Thursday night, when I've already had about 10 hours into the game.

Take care,
PK

Yes. The package looks real pretty sitting here on my desk at work.Zlax45 wrote:Impressions yet?
BTW, it is $40

I will try and get online with you guys tonight, but be warned: I am much worse at video game riding than real life riding.

I have mine on order through Gamespot.com and it still has not been shipped. I am looking forward to playing in next week's poker night with you guys.matthewk wrote:Yes. The package looks real pretty sitting here on my desk at work.Zlax45 wrote:Impressions yet?
BTW, it is $40Perfect for a cheap-ass-gamer like myself. This is actually my first game (madden not included since I sold it for what I bought it for) since NCAA 06.

F*CK. My local EB has one copy left and won't save it for me, and I can't get out of here for an hour or two.
Someone else may have to play host to Poker Night ...
Take care,

EB is my only option to get it today. No Gamestops in the area. Nearest one is 40 miles away, and with gas at $3 per gallon, there's no way in hell I'm driving there.
Gaming is fun, but it doesn't mean THAT much to me!
Take care,
PK
