Could take awhile to load, just click the link and set it aside to load. Still waiting for it to load myself. Darn kids wanting their free Xbox360 and drinking up all the Mountain Dew.

Doesn't Quest Field have grass? Next Gen makes me cry if EA textures the field like that.

The only reason EA has tons of money is b/c they hold down costs and market great. They never take a chance and spend money on R&D to push the envelope for games. Their decisions are based of maximizing short term profits (I can't blame them b/c it works from a business standpoint, but from a gamer standpoint it burns me up). Spending mega cash to make a killer game engine for a new system w/ a small user installed base doesn't work for the EA business people.Weaver2005 wrote:Ya, it doesn't look as good as NFL2K5. Maybe they are saving the 'omfg' version for PS3.
I wish this company would face a huge backlash from gamers, but sadly most of the lemmings out their eat up their annual roster updates, or their shallow sequelized or movie based games.
This company is number 1 for 2 reasons: Madden cash cow and Sims cash cow. These 2 games have made them be able to play it very conservatively and let other developers take the risks.

You must be smokin something...The game looks very good and far better than 2k5. The Ps3 version will be a port of the 360 game.Weaver2005 wrote:Ya, it doesn't look as good as NFL2K5. Pot - Kettle - Black there Cheech. If you think EA is going to port something from the XBox360 to the PS3 you gotta be crazy, not like a fox crazy, like Trip Hawkins thinking Army Men games were good crazy.CerealKillah wrote:You must be smokin something...The game looks very good and far better than 2k5. Do a picture by picture comparison of what you see here vs Seattle stadium in 2k5 and you'll see the difference.CerealKillah wrote:You must be smokin something...The game looks very good and far better than 2k5. Yes you will see that the modeling of the stadium and textures are far superior in the Xbox360 version of Madden 2006. The only thing that 2K5 would get the edge would be player uniform textures (in some areas - not all - plus there are better shots of Shawn that show off more detail). Since the field is a placeholder you can't judge it. 2K5 is a beautiful Xbox game, far ahead of what Madden 2006 does on the Xbox. From what little we have seen from Madden 2006 on the 360, 2K5 is not better looking, it's not even close. I would suggest a trip to Lens Crafters if you feel otherwise because I am a full-time GraphicWhorus and can even set my hate for EA (the company) aside long enough to see the differencs.

Maybe your right, I was comparing it with this picture :

I still like the one you posted above from 2k5.

What's going to matter is how it looks in motion. I'll be the first to admit that NFL 2k kicks Madden's butt graphically, but the overall animation and look of the game when you're playing matter more to me than whether you can see the impression of Shaun Alexander's nutsack through his pants.
Not that I was looking....
