Monday Night Forza!

Post by Atxj »

Who's in? 9pm EST?

Also what class should we race? I was thinking we could do some sort of weekly alternating. For instance this week we race D class, then next C class and so on and so forth.

I'm in, but I couldn't race last night. When I tried to join, it said none of the cars in my garage met the restrictions of this race...wtf over?

I'm thinking I need at least 1 car of each class? A B C D?

Provo, we've been pretty much racing D-Class so far, as we were last night. I guess a lot of guys are just getting the game, or are playing through the offline mode, which is really, really slow to earn money in, so there are a lot of guys who don't have much beyond D-Class cars.

Just picked up the game. I will probably be on sometime tonight testing it out (trying to stay on the track). Keep an eye out for me.

PK,

What night will be the last drunken-Saab pilot night?

Not sure it'll be the same without you calling out anyone with a hatch's grocery-go-getter :)

I'm probably out tonight, but mid-week is looking like it should be prime for Forza.

Dave:

I leave for Indy Wednesday, returning May 30. So I'll be Forza-less for nearly three weeks, returning to collect scraps at the rear of the field. :)

Take care,

I'll most likely be on at some point tonight. I'll look for an open room.

A tip for the newbies: don't be afraid to use the 'line.' The other assists, I say you can do without, all it takes is a little subtlety on the triggers.

But the line is an amazing tool when you don't know the tracks yet. You'll be doing yourselves, and everyone else's rear ends, a big favor!

I'd like to join in the fun. I have to find the stupid communicator adapter. I always feel left out when everyone is talking.
It's you're, not your!!....Thank you.

How about the late night, left-coast crowd?

I'm usually not able to get on-line until about 10PM PDT, but I'll be there. Raced a few times with various non-DSP crowds last night, and it wasn't nearly as fun. Kind of annoying actually....

I'm still sticking with D and C class races for now, so I'll scan the club list and see who's around later tonight...

Nope, no password needed, just hop on and join someone through your friends list.

You are absolutely right Zep. I quickly adapated to turning off all the other assists, but still leave the "line" on until I learn the track and dont need it anymore. It was really an ingenous aid they came up with.

Whenever my volunteer shift gets over tonight, I will try to get on. I'll look out for Zep, as I think he's the only one on my friend's list so far. (I'm lazy).

Is there an easy way to browse the car club listing and sort by who's on and who's offline?

I think once people accept the invitation, they list with folks online on top, offline below. If there is just an invite out, they will appear in random order lower, below the folks actually in the club.

So this is the spot where the fun to race people have been hiding :)

I'll probably be on this evening.
