if nobody cares, so be it, but at least you can judge for yourself what kind of site they are running over there.

I think it has absolutely nothing to do with DSP so the thread will eventually be locked. Just friendly advice, the owner of the site is not a big fan of "board wars".
Edit: If you are banned how exactly are you able to pull up those URL's. Everytime someone circumvents a ban at OS, god kills 2 kittens and one dog.
Please sombody think about those poor dogs.

Problem solved.
Thats why I put "banned" in quotes.....Changing IPs easily allows you to get back in.bdoughty wrote:I think it has absolutely nothing to do with DSP so the thread will eventually be locked. Just friendly advice, the owner of the site is not a big fan of "board wars".

I can hear the crickets chirping now...I would venture a guess that he will probably get the same amount of sympathy over there as well.bdoughty wrote:http://forums.sports-gaming.com

Well most of them are former OS posters that got banned. It's like a teen hangout.dbdynsty25 wrote:I can hear the crickets chirping now...I would venture a guess that he will probably get the same amount of sympathy over there as well.bdoughty wrote:http://forums.sports-gaming.com

if you were crackerjack then here's what you wrote:
Now I don't know for sure if that's you, but if it is, you deserve to get banned. You brought absolutely nothing to the post but hate. If you've got a point to make, learn to make it without being an ass.Originally Posted by crackerjack

As for the mods at OS, they're pretty tough, especially on idiots that make posts like that. Any of them would have banned you for that post. OS is the biggest sports gaming community on the web and you will want to be part of it, especially at new game release time. You should send Fossen a note of apology as well as one to Steve. They may reduce your ban to a week or so. Word to the wise, if you spout your mouth off like that on any message board, you should expect retribution.
Take it from someone who has been banned from OS multiple times, you can't win the war with the mods. Just play the game by their rules and you will be fine.
Oh, and please don't come here acting like an ass...because there are people here that will show you the door as well.

Adam:
Keep your dirty laundry from other sites the hell out of here, or you'll be banned faster than you can say Jack Robinson.
We don't want to read about your troubles at OS, and we don't really care.
Most of us visit both sites and have gaming pals at both sites. Steve and the rest of the management at OS, including the mods, do a terrific job and have built the most vibrant, most comprehensive sports gaming community on the Net.
If you have a problem with that, then address it to the OS management. The DSP Forum is not your virtual landfill, a place you can fill with your personal trash.
Consider that a warning.
Take care,
PK

Do the regulars at OS really think there's some sort of grudge war between DSP and OS? IMO that couldn't be further from the truth. Like PK said, many of us post at both places and get together on Xbox Live like one big happy family. When I read posts like this it reminds me of the prisoner complaining about the Warden. Am I supposed to sympathize with that?

Modding such a big forum, with its increasing number of younger, immature members, is a thankless job. The cats at OS do it well, in my opinion.
Take care,

Speak for yourself. I wouldn't post at that place if my life depended on it. I will say that most people banned are not the brightest bulbs, but there are plenty of intelligent people who refuse to participate in their tryanny that never get banned.pk500 wrote:Adam:
