with lummies and tiger ...christine and bradley will probably rip it from my hands every chance they get so shelf life should prove to be pretty good
as for my xbox absolutley loved live and the football games other great games the past 2 years...but my xbox has just been collecting quite a bit of dust lately and as much as i will cherish the fun times on it ...much like the dreamcast time has moved on for me
also i recieved a promotion at work that is a salaried position so that eats up a few extra hours every week
and i have simply not had very many hours for gaming as it is
i have dropped my weight from just before christmas 211 to my current weight of 175 as of yesterday (im 6ft tall) and have just became alot more active in my free time lately
i always have had a very physical job pulling 22 pallets of merchandise off a semi several days a week building ad plans ,stocking helping customers ,overall managing responsabilities etc
but after having a couple spells last fall season of my heart beat feeling a bit too fast and feeling a bit light headed and knowing my mom had passed away at 27 and my birth father had some heart problems in his 50s as well as a trace of diabetes in the family tree i decided to get a bit smarter about my eating habits especially since unlike my father i was much taller and overall leaner and into sports when i was younger unfortunatley with my late work shifts fast food and bad eating choices, snacks became my best friend over the past 5 or 6 years ...and that wasnt a friend i needed..and it particulary scared me because im the kinda cal ripken worker type i have never to this day called out sick or missed a day of work in 18 years with the company
my new promotion gives me mostly 7am to 5 pm shift a few 10 am to 7pm shifts very once a week maybe a 3pm to 12 am that had become my only shift over the past half a dozen years this will be a radical change for me...may need an alarm clock also...LOL
now that i have basically come with in 5 lbs of my high school weight i have decided to kick in some extra activities that i use to enjoy alot such as rowing exercises, pullups, jumping rope, roller blading with christine..and jogging a bit...even dusted off the cardio bike LOL (i played football, soccer and ran cross country through high school)
i feel 10 years younger (im 36) and i have gotten more than a few similar compliments and that on portion control alone cant wait to see the results of the extra activitey a few months from now
its improved our family activitey time naturally and hasnt hurt that christines digging the results
so im ready to take it to the next level with some exercise since i have achieved everything so far through simply watching portions and switching to diet soda at work ...water or skim milk any other time
anyway mlb 2006 is the only game im even enjoying what so everon ps2 slim i get in about a 3 game series a week.......and a copy of we8 the only other game i currently own is still here for a rainy day so im fine on the gaming front
ncaa/madden is all im looking forward to (im resigned to the fact football, baseball and a ocasional match on the pitch is all i need for gaming bliss at this stage of the game (pun intended) i will only miss inside drive but its dead now anyways...mlb can only be found on my sony system hence pulling the xbox plug first (yeah another intended pun)
all i want psp for myself is mlb and eventually madden...if im disapointed bradley wont be im sure....and i dont waste any of my nice new raise paying for it....pk tried and true economics (i have 80 plus in credit already at fyes and eb through cds i traded in last year)
besides xbox 2 and ps3 are right around the corner so might as well cash in on at least one of these consoles now
i will get the logitech case you guys recommended as well as lummies for christine tiger for bradley (i may even mess with that one) mlb for me as i said
and who knows if it blows me away...well my slim might be for sale on one of those dates zec/bdough
but one things for sure my personal fitness goals will remain my primary focus
