Ok I changed my mind. C's in 5.

No, seriously, that 1st half was total domination. Even though they started 1-13 from the field they still won the half by over 20 pts.

Celtics just have too much firepower for Indiana.
We'll just keep bringing this post back up until the Celtics lose the series.

The Celts have no bussiness losing the series.

If they do, point to the man on the sidelines.

That said, I still think the C's will find a way.

As "most" times, talent pulls trough.

Walker looked really bad. Is he even 30 yet and he can't jump at all. Hard to imagine he could be the double-double threat he used to be early in his career.

The celts are vastly overrated. If the Pacers won in 5 games that really would not be a shock. The Atlantic division is probably the weakest division I've seen in the NBA for quite some time.

No Walker for game 4 against the Pacers - SUSPENDED

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2 ... id=2050023

Was that Reggie Miller who had 33 points in game 3.

Mavs pull the series even. So much for home court advantage in this series.

The Rockets have no business in the playoffs. I have never seen a team choke this badly in my life. And since when is Jason Terry an unstoppable force. I don't see the Rockets winning another game. Dallas has all of the momentum. Pathetic.

Not a bad night at all :)

Pierce, if/when motivated, can be a tremendous player.

As I said before, the next time I figure out this Pacers squad will be the first.

Geez, freaking Suns are not even playing at their full capacity and they are about to sweep a damn good 8th seed.

Scary.....

Have to give the Celtics their due for winning tonight. Maybe they should just leave Walker in Indiana. ;)

Edit: forgot the image request from Javi

And I have to thank the Pacers for their politeness. They made it abundantly clear early that they were not interested in winning this game. Did the same in game 1, that's Hoosier Hospitality for you!

Poor little Manu, what did he ever do to deserve that WWE knockdown by Melo. ;) Have to give DB credit for an earlier post. Horry continues his streak as Mr. Clutch with two big 3's late in the 4th.

Could the Suns play a better first quarter in a closeout game? 39-20...whoa. Guess they aren't worried about letting up...at least not yet.

What's the deal with Bonzi Wells?

Why is Fratello not playing him? Not that it would make a big difference but Posey and Battier aren't doing much.

Bonzi apparently doesn't get along with Fratello...whatever. Not like he'd make THAT much of a difference. The Griz are just outgunned in virtually every aspect of the game.

Next...

Guess the naysayers can shush about the Suns not being able to put up points in the playoffs. I'm sure it'll get tougher as we go along here, but Memphis is no slouch defensively.

Well I think the Suns are a good time and they certainly have a legit shot at the title but I do think the Grizzlies weren't much of a test although I'm sure you would disagree. The next round will be interesting although that being said, I think the Suns will definitely reach the conference finals. I regret now picking the Mavs to upset them in the next round in the office pool.

I don't neccessarily disagree...they are a decent team that limped into the playoffs. They are definitely the best of the bottom half of the western conference, but that isn't saying much. The Suns will definitely welcome the weeks worth of rest...get Marion's wrist and Nash's hamstring a little more healthy. I almost worry more about Dallas or Houston than I do San Antonio/Dallas or Seattle/Sacramento. We'll see though.

While watching Allan Iverson dribble today I pondered an age old question I guess I have never posted. Do they call carrying/palming the ball anymore? I swear when he has it in his right hand he could be whistled for it every time down court. Yet when he goes to the left hand it is not quite so bad and "almost" looks like a fundamental dribble. Not that proper ball handling is limited to Iverson but he just seems to be the worst offender.

Well I'll be honest and admit I still didn't give the Suns their due credit even though they rolled through the regular season like a steam roller. I also think the Spurs will provide a stiff defensive challenge with players like Bowen and Duncan but instead of giving the Spurs the clear advantage before, I now give a slight nod to the Suns. Nash is the perfect type of point guard you need in the playoffs and Amare is just a freak. Everytime I see that kid play, he reminds me of what Shawn Kemp and Chris Webber should have been.
