I may just wait to start my career until the proper 2011 vehicles and points system is available, so I've just been playing single races thus far. Generally speaking, the game drives pretty well, but they just missed it on a lot of the finer details, which happens when a game isn't given enough time ...

The little things make this game so freaking awesome. I'm playing an NBA Today game between the Magic and the Knicks and their commenting on how Gilbert Arenas needed a fresh start from the Wizards and how some of the pieces are starting to fall in place for the Magic.

I haven't posted here in eons, but I just got the game today and came to share my disappointment of GT5's implementation of Nascar. Frankly, I wasn't expecting much when it was announced, but I wonder why they bothered if it was going to be done so half-assed.

Thanks, I'll look around for Power Pros, I had the wii game for awhile and enjoyed it, so I'd bet I'll like the DS version.

Then again, maybe I should just buy a bigger memstick for my PSP, and actually put CFW and MLB09 on it. Playing without the ridiculous load times would fill me with joy

Just wondering, you guys have any recommendations for baseball games on the DS? I've been playing a ton of MLB09 on my PSP, but the crazy long load times in RTTS (and in general) are really starting to annoy me. Was thinking a DS baseball game could be a nice change of pace for my handheld baseball ...

Unless you mean EA will seek full exclusivity of the license, but I don't think the current MLB deal with Take Two runs out until 2012 or 2013 ...

The game looks pretty good and plays a lot like last year's title (good thing). I'm happy to see that they were able to put in different sized player models into this title, having everyone the same height in the last game just looked silly.

More than the Giants winning, I'm just glad that the Patriots lost. I couldn't take any more of the "Is Brady the best ever?" or "Best Coach Ever" headlines on espn.com. The honking from the NE faithful is just way too much to bear, this should hopefully shut them up until the NBA playoffs :)

Got good enough value on my trade-ins to get both the DS and Wii versions. :) I also like the feel of the tilt steering on the wii version, and the graphics aren't all that bad either (not great though). The pit mini-games take a little practice, but are still add some decent variety to the ...

Out of curiousity, have they improved the graphics at all from what was shown in trailers? I don't care that much about graphics, but the first screens and trailers looked pretty hideous, even for a wii game.

Any word if they will be using player models that aren't all the same height? It's a nitpick, I know, but watching Richie Sexson look eye-to-eye with Yuniesky Betancourt in post game celebrations got kind of old

Just the fact that you can run around in Mini Coopers and old 60's Z28's and 'stangs makes it feel like PGR2 more. I did give the PSP version a spin last night and was quite impressed. I haven't played a Tiger game on the PSP since the first one and this version is worlds better than that one.

So that means Microsoft probably paid at least part of the cost to air it.

Since my 360 is busted I went ahead and downloaded the PS3 demo of MLB2k7 this weekend. I don't know if it is indicative of the final game's quality, but my goodness the visuals on the PS3 are significantly worse than the 360. I have a 20 gig, and I picked up the 1.60 update a couple nights ago. I hadn't actually turned my PS3 on for several weeks up until this latest update. Maybe the excitement of background downloading and protein folding will draw me back to the PS3's premium gaming experience...

NR2003 is a great simulation of stock car racing, no question. I think it is clear that EA's Nascar games are targeted at a more casual audience, so it is probably not realistic to expect EA to create a game that matches the depth and realism of NR2003.
