Like most of you, I see the demo as evolutionary, not revolutionary, but that was to be expected and not at all a bad thing.

+ The progressive lighting is very well done and adds oomph to the visuals.

+ Hit variety seems improved again. L3 swing feedback enhanced to graphically show swing region ...

If last year's game was almost perfect then this year should be perfect. Especially for RTTS as there has been a ton added to that mode to make it more interactive and a better overall experience.



Can you elaborate on what's been added to RTTS as that's the only mode I play with the game ...

I am going to pass on this year's game.. last years game was almost perfect to me and I see no reason in buying another version.. I will just pick up my created player and continue his career.

I'm not sure how to feel about them prioritizing minor league parks over vintage ones though... one of the things I LOVED about MVP was how you could just play any in-season game in a vintage park, if the spirit moved you... and I'm sure they'd be gorgeous on the PS3.

On my HOF games this year I noticed that hit distribution definitely seemed to be skewed towards singles, and I have traditionally been a very good hitter in this series. I did better in my AllStar game but the cpu was still weak....but that was an admittedly small sample. I may try playing HOF ...

LOL...the entire inaugural game I played was pretty bad from a commentary point of view. They called Beltran, Delgado and vice versa, and Smoltz was the player of the game but they called him Hudson. It's a good thing it doesn't matter what the commentary says...the game is phenomenal.
