Players are starting to complain, there's a Facebook petition for a ban, but doubt Blatter will do much about it, now or in the later stages of the WC.

If it's noticeable on the broadcast, I can only imagine how bad it is at the stadiums. Those guys must have some lungs because it never lets up ...

I would love watching the World Cup if it weren't for the constant din of those horns.

In thinking about Michael Jackson's career, I realized I had not listened to any of his big hits in over 20 years. This may be more due to the quality of 80's music which has not had the staying power of previous rock/pop decades.

Sad news if true. I remember when he was as big (or bigger) than the Beatles. Everything he wrote turned to gold. And then a downfall of such freakish proportions.
