I have heard that disabling 720p and 1080i in the dashboard fixes this. I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure if it works.
What makes you say that, Snate? I've been playing with a couple buddies every night this week and we've had nothing but good times with it.snate wrote:I'm pretty convinced that this game sucks online anyway. f*** it.

I've only played one game online so maybe it's not fair to rush to judgement....but, the game I did play just didn't feel right. I guess you could call it lag or choppiness, but it just didn't compare to the single player game which runs very smoothly.
Plus, maybe it's me but baseball is the worst game to hook up online with a complete stranger. If there's not a whole lot of action going on in the game, you kinda just sit there thinking of what to say to this guy. "Nice pitch...." "Sweet play".

I've been playing two to three games a day, and for the most part it's been great. Lag will definitely impact the experience, but it's something you can adjust for, and as long as you have minimal lag, there are no complaints (other than the fact that for some reason my stats get reset whenever I turn off my Xbox).
I'm not worrying about playing people I don't know... I just would like to be able to play people I do know. I haven't played the game online or offline because I haven't been able to rent it.sportdan30 wrote:I've only played one game online so maybe it's not fair to rush to judgement....but, the game I did play just didn't feel right. I would have picked it up, but I've read nothing but problems with the online side of things... and well that's why I purchase most of my games.
