Can't even enjoy the 'Stros win for 24 hours before getting kicked in the teeth again.....

I hope this is not the beginning of the RGIII syndrome for Watson that you mentioned earlier.....

Lessee.....that is Watson, Watt, Mercilus, Cushing all gone.....3 injuries and one PED violation. Don't care who you are, your season is done when guys like that go down.

Cushing will be back in week 11, but he will be playing out his final days in H-town, IMO.....

Bills apparently thinking to highly of themselves and the Jets are unable to even tank correctly. Pats walk away with division again it seems.

Afraid you're right.

I don't think the "thinking too highly of themselves" narrative fits. The Bills have celebrated their underdog mentality for the first eight weeks of the season, so if anything, the opposite was in effect.

But the Bills proved last night they're not ready for prime time. A fundamental ass-kicking on both lines by the Jets. Embarrassing.

Gutsy performance from the Skinz. I thought their secondary played the Hawks tight the entire game despite their injuries. SEA kept shooting themselves in the foot with damn penalties and despite Wilson’s late heroics, K. Cousins threw two incredible passes to put them in a winning situation. If you can’t kick a FG not once, not twice but three times, you don’t deserve to win any game.

Disappointing loss.

51? wow.. Giants that bad? ;) I didn't get to to see the game but Goff went off today for sure! Happy for you, I'm still amazed what difference a head coach has made already for this team!

Considering my best friend is a massive Rams fan, I've seen a lot of Rams football this season (usually the shortcuts variety), but McVay is obviously LEGIT.

Goff looks like a completely different player...and so does Gurley.

And McVay was smart enough to go out and hire an all-world caliber defensive coordinator in Wade Phillips, and then let him do his thing. After a few rough weeks against the run, that unit is starting to look an awful lot like the Broncos D of the past few seasons. And how about that Broncos D now (51 points yesterday? LOL!)

Also funny what a massively upgraded offensive line will do for an offense, combined with a coach who obviously knows how to get the most from his QBs. Don't know if it's the system, the terminology, simplifying reads, or what. But everywhere McVay goes, his QBs blow up (in the best possible way). Getting Watkins was just the icing on the cake.

If the Raiders continue to tank hard, I'll enjoy watching Rams playoff games and pulling for them this January for sure. I know exactly how you feel, XXXIV--last season I was in that constant-state-of-amazement with Oakland.

Enjoy it!

Actually they made a lot of personnel moves which people seem to be overlooking.

They rebuilt the OL and got good WR targets for Goff. These would have yielded an improvement for Goff but they've also helped Gurley, who didn't have such a good season last year.

I'm sure McVay had a say in those personnel moves but is the GM new or a holdover?

First. f*** the the Rams. I hope for nothing but the worst for that franchise. Hate them more than I hate the Raiders and Broncos, even as a Chiefs fan.

That said, Robert Woods was an awesome pick-up and is probably responsible for my FF win this week if it holds up.

Look guys you can complain about your team all you want.

John Fox successfully challenge a play today which resulted in the Bears losing the football.

Tom Savage.....you are welcome Rams fans......Deshaun Watson makes this a much different ball game. Texans might not win another game this year. They have mailed it on since Watson went down.

How 'bout those ASTROS! 8O

Congrats on the win though....you guys are on a ROLL.

Rams vs Vikings will be a huge game. Both teams are on a roll and are feeling very confident about themselves. It will be interesting to see who wins. Vikings defense looked a bit leaky this week in Washington, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another high scoring game where the Rams win 31-28. Todd Gurley will kill this team with screen passes.

We knew that both teams would be tough against the runs. It was a stingy affair until the half until Keenum started connecting with some long passes. Without taking anything away from the Rams so far, we’ll see how they stack up in the second half of the season when they start playing much tougher opponents.

The Rams were destroyed in the second half,

Having said that...

That was their first road loss.

They have beaten two teams with winning records on the road. Im still shocked that you ignore this fact. Why do you ignore that FACT?

Scumbag uncle Pete's days are ending soon James. You will have to deal with it.

My concern is Goff. He looks like hes scared to death.

:D  I am not ignoring anything. You know there are a few Rams haters here but you got me confused as one of them. All I am saying is let’s see what they can do in the second half when the games and opponents get tougher for them. Leave Pete out of this.

Ok now you can bring him into the conversation. I fully blame him for the loss on MNF. Still, how many FG has this team missed this season (pulls all his hair).
