I've got a CH game at 9pm, but I'll log on to NFL around 10pm and look for you.Jared wrote:I'll probably be home by 10, so I'll aim for then.Sully wrote:Best night for me is probably Wed...anytime from 9pm EST to 11pm EST.Jared wrote:Probably tomorrow or Wednesday (I'll be out of town afterwards). I hope he works out for you, Sully. He and Thomas Jones are actually rated the same, I'm not sure if that's good or bad!Sully wrote:I'm riding the newly acquired A-train to KC!RobVarak wrote:<<======= (Pulls out bowl of popcorn and sits in front of TV expectantly)
The new Jeff Blake Experience will not be unveiled until after Christmas.
It would be cool if you could watch another league game. I guess I'll just read the play-by-play.

Damn it. Damn it.
So I've been dealing with Verizon because my DSL has been randomly dropping out the last week. They called me today to tell me that it was fixed. Yeah. Well, it hasn't dropped until then. Bastards.
I'd love to get a rematch, but I'm going out of town tonight or tomorrow morning and won't be back until Tuesday (which'll be after the league deadline). As much as I'd love a chance to try and score with 30 seconds left (you would have got the FG), I'm not gonna have the chance.
Since it probably would have been 9-6, you should get the win.
(Wow...just tried to post this...and the connection went back out again....bastards. Wait. Now it's back up again. Argh.

It's up to Bill. It was a great game. We were pretty evenly matched. I'd hate to win like this. You would have had 30 seconds and 2 timeouts. If Bill can't wait, then I understand. However, if he can, I'd prefer to play it again.Jared wrote:Damn it. Damn it.

It's the holidays, so there might be some other games that don't get played. We'll see.

Well I won't be back to an XBox until the 29th (maybe the 28th...not sure). So for now, just leave the results as they are. If you want to hold back the week until then (b/c lots of people won't be able to play), that's great. It can always be reset when I get back. But if there's lots of demand to advance the week before then, then just advance it.
Shame I lost my connection to...it was shaping up to be an amazing game.

It was a great game, with some exciting moments. Jared maxed out his kicker's distance when he nailed a 48 yarder with Tynes that barely cleared the crossbar.
Also, in the 3rd quarter, Priest fumbled inside the 30....which the Eagles recovered. He had another possession stall at the 35. He knew Tynes didn't have a prayer at making a 52 yarder so he goes for it on 4th and 1. It was very close and the measurement gave him the 1st down. I throw out the red flag, and after further review, the spot of the ball is overturned...giving possession back to the Eagles. It really is a shame we couldn't finish.

You're a good guy, don't worry about it. I, too know the feeling of going to sleep with a controller in my hand. I average about 4 hours sleep per night so I'm always dropping off during downtime.XXXIV wrote:Bad once again I must apologize for going to sleep on you.

As for tonight, all I can say is I'll be there if I can. We're going to finish up some last minute shopping tonight and we're driving 50 miles to do it. I have all intentions of being back before 11, but you never know how these things play out. I'd say go to the lobby at 11 and if I'm not there by 10 past, just move onto something else. I should be able to be there though because we're just running to Circuit City and Old Navy.

Hope everyone had a good holiday. I was w/o cable access for several days due to the ice storm that drilled Columbus; I was lucky. Half the city was w/o power for Christmas. Anyway, Im gonna extend the week until this weekend so hopefully everyone can get their game in.
Does anyone want to play Green Bay this week so Laurenskye can get his game in?
