How many times were the refs going to let Brady just chuck the ball to no one damn near every play in the fourth. I mean...there should have been at least three intentional groundings that went uncalled. Pretty sad...but alas the right team won so who cares.

And Manning was terrible too. Outside of the second TD to Danie!s he threw a bunch more ducks...cost his team tons of yardage with his little run backwards and fall down crap and overall just managed the game rather than do anything worthwhile to win it for them. That D...whoa. I knew the Pats would have trouble w the pass rush since Miami proved in week 17 that the Pats line was terrible but I didn't think it would be that bad.

Either way the Cards or Panthers win handily in the SB. I just think the NFC is that much better. And obviously Carolina is proving they are even that much better than AZ. So yeah.

Kind of sad for Manning. His mind knows what to do but his body can't execute any more.

The Broncos defense can play balls out but unless it gets turnovers and maybe even defensive scores, the Broncos could lose by something like 16-7 because the offense, especially the passing game is so ineffective.

Broncos' D made the day for Manning. Fourth quarter with about 5-6 minutes to go, stopping the 4 and 1 was key for them, even though Gronko made those crazy catches late in the game.

80 points in two games for CAR 8O , but as good as DEN's D was today, there's no stopping Newton and CO in the SB.

There were receivers right where Brady threw every single time. None of them were even close to grounding. Maybe someone will do a collection of them as gifs or a Youtube video. He was throwing the ball away, but in exactly the way all QBs have done for years. The difference was, the Broncos were dumping him so often that it just kept happening.

Opening line: Carolina -4, O/U 44.5.

Hmmm. I like Carolina and the over for now. Plenty of time to research trends and see what develops the next two weeks.

I would like to see Cam Newton and Carolina win a SB. Another Miami player bust goes to a winning team in Ted Ginn Jr. and Cam Newton took a lot of flack from the media after his rookie season when his numbers went down and many in the press thought he was all hype. But nothing would make my day more than watching chicklet mouth "Elway" not smiling if Denver were to win a SB.

I'd like to see Denver win so Manning can go out on top. I think the guy is a class act and have no idea why so many people hate him.

I am still trying to wrap my head around "Super Bowl coach Ron Rivera."

As good as Denver's D is, Carolina's is not far off the mark, and their offense is light years ahead of Denver's mediocre running game and AARPeyton. The Panthers had their way with the second-ranked D of the Seahawks and the top-5 Cardinals unit, so it's hard to see the Broncos overcome that. The Broncos are able to get pressure without blitzing which makes it so hard for opposing QBs -- it was crazy how Brady was both under constant pressure and the Broncos still had 7 guys in coverage. But Cam's mobility and strength make it so much harder to get to him and bring him down.

This has the makings of a real snoozefest SB. I just hope the Broncos keep it close.

Part of it is overexposure. How many f***in commercials do we see with him? Between him and Discount Double Doosh, it's nonstop during Sundays. He deserves to lose for endorsing that pizza catastrophe alone. :D

Also, as someone who does not really have an emotional investment in the Pats (good or bad), I like their relentlessness. They are the Terminators of the NFL. Yes, you do want to see them lose because they are Terminators, but it's more fun when they live until the very end. Seeing Peyton get torn to pieces by the Panthers secondary and the endless obituaries in the sports media is going to both sad and annoying. It would be more satisfying to see the BELIBOT 3000 crushed in the hydraulics of the Panthers D and Cam Newton's smile.

If this is your only reasoning you sure must hate a lot of people. I'm talking about what Manning does off the field, which is a whole hell of a lot. I'll admit it's hard to find because he does it low key. How many people even knew he has a son until yesterday? When it's really hard to find anyone who has a bad word to say about someone it is hard to believe it's an act.

You should enjoy Cam now, because by your logic you'll hate him real soon. If there was ever a guy who calls attention to himself at every chance he gets it's Cam.
