I did lose Grossman for the season, though. Are we past the trade deadline?

I can also pick up an extra game a week, no problems. I don't care if we get assigned a team or get to play with a different team each week, I think it would be a nice change of pace.
Brando, I've got Jeff Blake, if you're interested. He's nothing spectacular, but he's a solid backup.

Maybe we can work out some kind of package deal (2 for 2, 3 for 3) that involves Anthony Thomas? I lost Westbrook for the season, and Levens isn't going to cut it.
Sully, I will fire up the game tonight and take a look at trade possibilities. I am assuming you can't do unbalanced trades, so I will try to put something together that looks attractive. I don't think Krenzel can keep up his 157.9 QB rating :D

I'll take the LIons. How do we do this? I thought the game wouldn't let you control 2 teams?
You cant control 2. It's a bit of a hassle but we have no choice. I have to drop you from the league (or you can do it) and then I invite you back as the Lions owner. Afrer the game we repeat the process and I get you back in Dallas.

How do you guys feel about skipping to the playoffs after week 12? Is it even possible?

BTW - I'm the one who has Drew Brees now. Any interest? I'm looking for a good SS.

Still no sign of Fshguy. I replied to his emails a couple of days ago asking what time he could play on Friday. No response. I guess he expects to just email me the day that we are supposed to play and give me a time.

That's great. I don't have a life. I can just drop everything and play. No need to plan my weekend in advance.

I think it's ridiculous that the guy can find the time to post in another thread, but can't find the common courtesy to give me the heads up on when we can play. I'm not even interested at this point.

Flip the coin Bill.

That's really, really weird about fishguy. We were playing GR2 earlier this week, and I was busting his chops about getting the game in. He indicated that he would contact you, Sully. Maybe he's tossing in the towel. Shouldn't be a coin toss, though.

He waited about 4 days to finally reply. His reply asked if we could play THAT evening...short notice. I told him I couldn't, and asked if he would be able to play sometime Friday...he hasn't replied back.

I dont think an undefeated season should end on a coin flip...especially in this case.

You wont lose. I'm doing what I can to get MY game in with BK, who for some reason I cant touch base with, but I'm looking to replace Fshguy and we'll take turns using Seattle if we have to. If he's not going to take the league seriously, I'm not going to continue to prod him to play. Screw that.

I'm picking this game up again today. I feel dirty for even owning Madden now :?

What are the details? How many teams are open? How many weeks are left in the season? I can't guarantee I will be much competition, but I am pretty flexible as far as scheduling goes and if I say I will be there, I will be there.

Good to have you aboard, Leebo, the league is mostly DSP guys now, we've weeded out the problem children.

Sully, I'm still looking to deal for a QB but couldn't get on XBL last night. I'll send you an offer this weekend for Blake if someone doesn't beat me to the punch.

Rob has a line on a Lions (2-6) owner so we may not need one there. Rob?

Seattle (2-7) and MAYBE Green Bay (5-3) if the Pack owner doesnt play next week.

I really have no preference. Just plug me in where you think I'll have the most fun based on the remaining schedule. The more DSP regulars on the remaining schedule the better.

My only problem is that my offense tends to lull people to sleep. That's why my games are usually so close, they nod off in the 2nd and 3rd quarters :D

The week has been rolled over. We're starting week 10 and games may be played. Leebo, there is an invite waiting for you as the new Seahawks owner on the website.

Just make sure he doesn't have to play me. You know how I run that DT cheese.

I think the main rule is you can't move your DE off the line and speed rush him. I think it's ok to use the DE, you just can't move him outside to gain a better angle. Some rules apply to how much you can run with the qb, but just use common sense. Hasselbeck doesn't run so if you have 7 carries for 76 yards with him, then that's just wrong.
