Not a bad deal for the Eagles. I know the Ram run D wasnt at all good this year but MUCH of that can be attributed to the front office and the drafting of one trick ponies like Chris Long. Pretty good D C. Just ask his holiness Tom Brady :P

Another great day for the Eagles. Finish the year out as arguably the best team in the NFCEast and dont make the playoffs. Oh what could have been.

Are we ready to say the league has figured out how to stop the Denver offense?

Detroit got shredded by Packers 2nd string quarterback.

Minnesota lost to the Bears pre-season squad.

Cincy backs into the playoff's

Jets lose and we don't have to listen to that fat f*** for about 6 months now.

All in all a pretty entertaining day considering there was not much real excitement with Oakland pissing down their leg.

Don't worry they gave it back on that roughing the passer. Apparently if you a D linemen now and you're on the ground you should just stop playing because grabbing a QB around the ankles and tackling him is a 15 yard penalty.

L. Fitzgerald is a monster. Despite the Seahawks coming back strong in the 4th, SEA just couldn't pull it off in OT as the ARI receiver just put on a show all by himself with some spectacular acrobatic catches.

Fitz is great but his salary may be eating too much of his team's payroll to build up that team. They had to let Boldin and Breaston go. If they get another good WR, they may not be able to pay him.

The Texans have had that very thing called on them 4 times this season....

The play i'm talking was when Tebow got the side of his masked yanked and his head turned in that direction. The was a clear face mask.

Anyone watch the NFL Network's GameDay show?

Deion is growing a beard. Last week it was all gray. This week it's all dark.

Very jarring.

It will be interesting to see how far Houston gets in the playoffs. QB situation is terrible when the 3rd stringer goes out with an injury, though Yates is expected back next week. Good thing the running game is spectacular to take heat off the QB situation. Texans secondary seems to be hit or miss towards the end of the season. Great the majority of the season but now seems to be a big weakness. But overall, a hell of a defensive turnaround compared to the previous years.

Rams end season in lamb style once again.

On the verge of one of the greatest comebacks in team history their third string qb hero? goes down leaving them to the fourth string goof and its bah bah losers.

Colts lose and no #1 pick to trade.

YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well...

Go Rams!!!!! ......................2012 you will win it all! :D

It's obviously bad. They didn't figure things out until about 4 weeks ago. All of a sudden the D looks super. If they would have squeaked into the playoffs I wouldn't have wanted any part of them. But they didn't so now my focus goes the the Flyers, Sixers and finally the Phils :).

I know the call you're talking about, it didn't get called and it was a facemask but a bullshit roughing the passer did later. Broncos lost today because of their QB play not because of one missed called.

It's not bullshit according to the rulebook. That rule was put in place the year after Brady missed the whole season for a hit below the knees. Now if you want to call it bullshit in the sense that it shouldn't be in the rulebook I won't argue with you.

I would disagree Scoop, the rule is you can't go at the QB's legs. You're going to sit here and tell me if a guy is on the ground and tries to tackle the QB by grabbing his feet that's the same thing? Honestly that's how the rule is to be interpreted? Please.

I gotta disagree Dan. I say let the QB play his game and his play will stand on it's own. The coaching staff put Tebow in a bad spot because they didn't want him to make a mistake so they concentrated on the run.

When it was time to try and tie the game late in the 4th, it was all air and no ground game. KC had down a good job of flooding the box and pretty shut down the ground game so it was all on Tebow at that time. With no ground game Tebow had no way of succeeding. If the coaching staff had let the guy try to be himself good or bad they had a better chance to beat KC in a low scoring game.

Btw, Romeo Crennel did a nice job taking the interim coaching job. I get the feeling he may get the full time gig since Scott Pioli is the GM.

John Fox is the not the best coach for Tim Tebow.

One of these things have to go. The defense has been better than last year and probably any time during the Shanahan era.

But John Fox is too conservative for the type of offense Tebow would need to succeed. Ever since Tebow took over, the commentators on Fox, CBS and radio keep asking the question why don't they try to build Tebow's confidence by having more short passes. Yet time after time, the play call is either a run, a 15+ pass, or a bomb. Anyone watching the game knew it was one of these three passes. No screens, few play actions, no shovel passes. No creativity.

Fox and the OC is more conservative the Reeves was. A young aggressive OC is what the Broncos need. Sadly, it's not Foxes style. I think Fox will sink Tebow's career not Tebow not improving beyond this year.

Steve Spagnuolo is now available to coach your defense. That amazing 10- 38 record was not enough to save this job.

Maybe more importantly the idiot Billy Devaney was fired from his job at GM. Good bye asshole.

Now who gets the jobs?

Hopefully for HC it will someone with head coaching experience and not another super awesome star gotta have flavor of the month coordinator. Id say a decade of that garbage is enough.
